To get there quickly without toggling hidden files/folders you can navigate to "%programdata%". Just type that into the address bar in Windows Explorer or directly in the Run window (Win+R). Other useful ones: %appdata%, %localappdata%, %userprofile%, %temp%.

Have been using a pair of HD598SE's for a few years via a Fiio E10k. Browsing Drop I've seen three pairs of headphones that look appealing - Sennheiser HD6XX, Hifiman HE4XX, AKG K7XX. Considering how much I've enjoyed my HD598SE's, I'm probably going to settle on the HD6XX's in the new year...

Aren't some of the physical keys different between the two layouts? Like the split left shift for example on UK vs long shift on ANSI.

Used DBAN before - small bootable program that overwrites entire HDD. Not too sure about SSD's though.

PBT keys are much more durable than normal ABS plastic keys and will not lose their texture like some ABS keys that turn shiny.

I have a white/cream version. I actually ordered the grey version but got shipped a white one. It was too much of a hassle to return it to the US so I've just kept it. The red keys are aftermarket caps according to the post I took the photo from.

The dark grey version is even more so...

You'd have to look at Aliexpress or Banggood.

Mostly Leopold and Realforce keyboards. I have Leopold FC660C in white but the dark grey version looks better. I haven't seen any of these available locally apart from the now discontinued Coolermaster Novatouch which used a similar switch that is compatible with standard Cherry style keycaps.

Anyone tried Topre switches? I've been using using them for a year or two and no other cherry switch I've typed on compares in terms of smoothness. And what about layouts? My current keyboard is a 66 key and I love how much space it leaves for my mouse.

Great post, I've also been down the must try every mechanical keyboard road and let me tell you it's a deep rabbit hole. I've settled on a Topre Leopold board and it's the best typing experience I've had (so far), It's so smooth and the feedback is great. GLWS

Aliexpress is a good bet for keycaps, but the long shipping times is a nightmare. They're atleast decently priced and mostly with cheap or free shipping Example search for "pbt keycaps" sorted by number of orders As someone else mentioned, KBDfans have their own page on Aliexpress.

Unfortunately I don't think I've ever seen keyboards as small as 60% available locally. Aliexpress is probably your best bet if you can cope with waiting for shipping. The usual online retailers do have 87%/TKL layouts (Corsair K63/5, Coolermaster Masterkeys S variants, Redragon K552/3 etc).

No problem! I ordered orings on ebay a few years ago when I had a keyboard with Cherry MX reds at the time, they're super cheap but it's a pain waiting for shipping.
