I've been watching more youtube this lockdown than I care to admit, and I've seen quite a few of the streamers alternating RPG loadouts.
Jackfrags specifically says that you need an RPG loadout in Solos, so maybe that is where the shit players get their loadout ideas from.

You can identify these players so easily in a game of plunder, you will team wipe them a few times and that is when they return with their RPG's

I see your Magnums and raise you my Swagnums.

The Akimbo Swagnums are very good at close range.

The long barrel screws with hip fire accuracy a bit, so I don't run that. Been trolling people for ages with these, the reactions are just too good to put them away. Akimbo Renetti's are just as deadly, but the Swagnums are just better IMO. I also don't run the 5mW laser, just for those instances when you know someone has you cornered and you need to pre aim a doorway or corner.

Never played with these or the renetti in warzone will level mine a bit tonight and see how it goes.

Plunder is most definitely warm up or casual fun having time but man having people just try and land on you over and over again is a ton of fun. I was playing solo Plunder last night to do the get 3 kills in 5 different matches to unlock akimbo and I got 29 kills.

There is indeed some potatoes in this game. Look I am not the best but i've managed to melee a entire team without firing one shot.

Has anyone else been having issues with the game crashing to desktop with no errors? I bought the full game after having played the free multi-player event two or three weeks ago, and it was running really well with no issues up until Thursday's update last week. Ever since then, the game crashes to desktop within a minute or two of joining a match, or playing a campaign mission. I've tried all the fixes I could find, updating drivers, scan and repair, clearing caches, running as administrator, etc. The strange thing is that if I start it up and let it idle at the menu for 10/15mins before playing, it doesn't crash. Any ideas on what could be happening?

Am I the only one that has been experiencing server lag and crashes ever since these free players also got some multiplayer options?

In the near 600 hours I put in to this game I have not had any issues like like this. You start with 7ms ping, then 3 min in tot he game everyone is on 300+only to sit at 999 for a bit, then server crashed and it NEVER manages to place everyone on another server. It just fails.

The hit reg has also been absolute dogshit the last week, something is up.

Still managed Rank 155 and BattlePass 100 though so maybe time for a break lol

Yes the servers are always awful on the free weekends. I think they don't increase server capacity because they are cheap bastards, and instead the overflow goes to P2P hosting, which is generally terrible. I got host transfers a ton this weekend, which I never ever see usually.

Before Sunday, my game kept on crashing when the Aniyah Incursion map was loading, never on any other maps, but that was fixed by Sunday.
Before that I had one or two crashes while playing Plunder. I started Battle.net as Admin and that seemed to fix those crashes.

But a lot of people have had crashes and an array of different fixes.

It's not only during these F2P weekends, but it's much worse during them.

Most of the time you'll have the packet burst icon on screen but ping remains solid at 10-15ms in game, but feels like you're playing with 500ms ping.

Some servers you'll have no lag, but feels like you're running through mud and when you ADS your FOV doesn't change at all, like 0 zoom on ADS.

The servers for this game is absolute dog shit.

I finally bit the bullet and levelled up the Oden and I'm an Oden main now, man that thing does a lot of damage, yes it shoots at about half the M4 or Grau speed but it does almost triple the damage per bullet.

Turn off all overclocking cpu, ram and gpu. That solved it for me.

Currently have driver 445.87
Have ram set to 2133mhz
Graphics is set to low.
-d3d11 in game launch
No MSI Afterburner anymore.
No CPU overclocking.

To get there quickly without toggling hidden files/folders you can navigate to "%programdata%".
Just type that into the address bar in Windows Explorer or directly in the Run window (Win+R).
Other useful ones: %appdata%, %localappdata%, %userprofile%, %temp%.

Mate of mine had issues with the game crashing. Changed region in battlenet to americas and solved the problem. Game still looks for <25ms ping first
