The most commonly available displays on the market today are LCD and OLED, with older technologies such as CRT and plasma being less and less common or even phased out altogether. • 5
Overclocking may have only become a mainstream exercise is the last decade, but its roots can be traced back to the PC itself. While the methods used to overclock may have changed over the years, the goal has remained the same – to increase the performance of your computer. Much like modifying a car’s engine, overclocking can be done for one of two reasons. Either you can increase the performance of a cheap model to match that of a more expensive model, or you can shoot for performance greater than that of any off-the-shelf components.

The Monkey Island series of games by LucasArts are probably the most successful point-and-click adventure games of all time, right up there with Dungeon Keeper and Grim Fandango.

The brilliant news is that you can grab a bundle of the first four games right now on Steam for a heavily discounted price of R 106.72. You don’t need to buy the entire bundle to save, as the individual games are also heavily discounted. Buying the bundle is, however, cheaper than buying the games individually.

RTX 2060 Possibly Delayed

Nvidia stocks are down 18%. Team green blames the miners. Seems like they're on the gamer's side again, doesn't it?

But there's more to it. Nvidia apparently expected the mining craze to last longer. So they turned all their machines on overdrive and churned out as many 1060's as they possibly could. And then it all stopped, dropped and rolled. Now they're sitting on excess stock they have to move before they can release the RTX 2060. Now while this isn't great news, the question is "how long"?

Well, 3 to 6 months before their stock is cleared, according to CEO Jensen Huang. They're also worried about the second hand market, actually, with the majority of miners offloading their second-hand, mined cards at very attractive prices.

All the above needs to be taken into account. Yes, they never leaked or revealed any possible dates for the RTX 2060 release, but it's safe to assume that they won't release the RTX 2060 with the current stock of GTX 1060 cards on the market...

Samsung's Galaxy S10 to include "budget" options

Samsung keeps at it. With a behind-screen camera in development and talks of a new foldable phone, the S10 looks to be an interesting addition to their lineup.

Following the likes of Apple, Samsung is looking at expanding their specific model offering, something that hasn't been done in a while. We all remember the slightly cheaper "mini" models that were released in years past. They were smaller, less-specced versions of the bigger phone, at a more affordable price. Samsung has stopped this since the S5 Mini, after which the A series seems to have taken up this space.

However, this might be returning with the S10. Not the Mini naming convention, nor the physically smaller phones per se, but at least in specs the S10 will offer more choice. Codenamed "Beyond", it is clear that Samsung has big plans for this model series. They seem to be aiming at a wider market, with triple cameras on the rear of the phone and it may even have the under-screen camera on the front as...
