Ok so me and my 8 year old son are now set up with our own gaming PCs. He has a i7-2600k/660Ti and I have a i7-4790k/970.

He has been playing BF4 on my PC and he seems to be doing ok (+-0.5K/D) so I was thinking about buying him his own copy so we can team up but then he has to unlock everything from scratch. Also downloaded World of Tanks last night and will probably also get World of Warships.

Looking for more multiplayer game recommendations along the action/FPS/RPG genres that are not too complicated to get into that we can try out. Doesn't matter if it is online or offline, just as long as we can team up.

Thanks.

****ing hot in summer!

And very boring, luckily I am near the bridge to Bahrain, which is so much better than Saudi.

Saudi is not like dubais playground ,bahrain is beautiful lots of diff cultures and friendly people i was in saudi for pilgrimage not so long back when riyal was still 2.85 flew sa to cairo cairo to jeddah

when riyal was still 2.85

When I arrived here in Nov 2014 the Saudi Riyal was worth R3.02, it hit a peak of R4.23 after the Zuma/Nene debacle and now trading R4.05.

So thanks to Zuma I am earning 33% more on money I send back in a year :)

Recently played a few games with other online players and really enjoyed it. Could be even more fun but too bad my son is only into Minecraft / Farming Simulator and Just Cause 3.

Anyway. If you like tower defense with a dash of RPG take a look at : Deathtrap
Save 66% on Deathtrap on Steam

I see its on sale now for -66% .

My son (almost same age as your son) plays loads of Ghost Recon Phantoms. Also CS:GO. Lately he started playing Mean Greens, it's totally appropriate for the age so check it out.. Toy Soldier vibe with really cool maps. Edit: If budget isn't a problem then Rainbow Six Siege is awesome. My son played the beta and loved it! Oh and Broforce, so good and loads of fun!

My son is turning 8 in 3 days and also built a similar machine for him. 2600k R280x.

We've been playing mech warrior online. Gauntlet and rocket league. Although he just got minecraft for Christmas.

Just came across Screen Cheat on Steam sale. Might be worth a look after reading your OP and the Steam reviews for it
