So in my infinte wisdom I thought I'd try a online FPS for a change (after years of WoW/D3/GW2), it wasn't pretty

My probleem is, ek is so blerrie inconsistent van map tot map.

Eish die maps van BF4 IMO, is moeiliker as BF3 sin omdat daar soveel meer plekke is om te cover.

Don't feel too bad, saw a rank 16 player go for 1-20

Don't bother too much with KD, if you play objective/listen to commands, you will end up on the higher end of the scoreboard
If you worry about KD, camp on a hill and snipe =/

I've put death / killstreak plugin on my server - so you can see who's dying ALOT , and who's camping alot BF4 is moreso about cover than BF3 - running around trying to gun people = usually ends in death.

Yep, I love the lean/peep system. I do it whenever I can

Get into armored vehicles to also help your K/D. Operation locker is not that easy particularly against good teams, they can still come from behind unlike operation metro in BF3.

OTC normally occupies those... so doubt you will find a empty one....

IFV kill machine the worst thing that BF4 did was give C4 to recon not only is it a massive campfest, now the campers have something to take out armor with.

Me sniping from a hill in BF3, then a tank comes along, WTF to do? Play dead and hope it goes away At least now in BF4 snipers can get some payback!!

PS. Snipers are SUPPOSED to camp in the hills, the tanks, not so much

Recon ruins the game and yes if recon is about stealth why would a sniper carry around 10kg of C4, Recon should be about stealth and if you are found then bad luck youre having.

In BF3 i would just have my friend fly the attack chopper and ill use thermal optics to spot snipers laying around, it was a kill fest.

en selfs om te verhoed dat die enemy ons tanks ook nog vat, want niks ***ker as om n enemy team te face wat elke tank/jet/chopper op die map het.

Ek benodig al die hulp wat ek kan kry...

You guys are doing it wrong....Recon + suppressed carbine (SG553 is my choice) + Pokeballs + C4 + Spec Ops perks and backrage the enemy all day...I have found this to be super effective and a lot of fun...
And I agree, it's the worst when some incompetent chump grabs a vehicle and then just ruins it all...
And failing at BF4, take a look at this:

Presies die probleem wat ek ook het! Consistency... Een map sal ek 24 kills he met 14 deaths, volgende map 8 kills 16 deaths...

Vir my is teamwork baie belangrik, en ek word baie in squads gesit waar die squad all over die map is! Dis gewoonlik die games waar ek heavy af chop..

Ek spot altyd die enemy en doen baie revives en healing, kry lekker punte daardeur. So ek focus maar op support, maar as daai squad members die hele map vol hardloop sonder om iets te skiet, maak dit my job nogal moeilik...

Daar iemand wat saam my will jam op teamspeak of iets? Net sodat ek my teamwork skills kan beproef.

I am finding the combination of a new game and lag issues being the reason for my inconsistancy with this game, but right now not concerned about the K/D, prefer S/M and W/L ratio which is alright at the present, hopefully they will fix the issues


I have fully unlocked the Assault class but find that unlike BF3 the weapons are also extremely inconsistant or this muzzle drift effect is making the game more challanging. I have completed all upgrades with the AK 12 (480 kills) but is a truely aweful weapon. I find im switching between the AEK 971 and M416 a bit but missing the AN 94 from BF3 as i liked the behaviour of that gun with tremendous stopping power.

Ok so hoe 'lean en peep' ek?

Ek benodig al die hulp wat ek kan kry...

For leaning: without aiming down, run/walk straight into a wall that has a clearing on either side. You'll see your guy begins to tilt. Don't move, press aim down and your guy will lean out while aimed down.

Peeping: while not aiming down, crouch behind any structure that you can't see over. Without moving, aim down. The structure can't be taller than while you are standing

Moving while lean/peeing cancels it.

No buddy, you're doing it wrong. Bolt action work best between 50m and 200m. Far enough to stay concealed and near enough to hit follow up shots if needed. Elevated terrain is a must.

Ya its BC2 but principle stays the same. RDS not required. I use X4 scope and canted sights.

Camping in a hill 1000m out is a douche move.
