List of good anime!

It really is except if you like massive action. This show leans heavy on it's writing and visual in stead of showy action scenes.

Think of it as House if House was a young girl in ming dynasty China.

Very sad that this is the last Frieren Friday of the decade...

20 years on I am still waiting for Dragon Half episode 3 :p

Here a fun thing.

I was just informed by a fellow Isekai lover that Arifureta is confirmed for a third season and Overlord is getting a movie.

Add that to the fact that Tanya the Evil is getting a 3rd season and Spirit Chronicles has finally been renewed for a second season.

Isekai trash lovers are going to be dining fine this year!

Is AoT worth it (wasn't impressed by Season 2)?
If you mean Attack on Titan, it's ranked as the 24th best show of all time on IMDB, and the second best anime, after Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I don't watch very much anime but it's easily one of the best shows I've ever seen (not just best anime, any show).

-_- i told myself to not come in & check the comments

Please tell me its not ending & have to wait 3 years for the new season

It's animated by the studio madhouse, you might not even get a new season after this ;) :ROFLMAO: .

Will add it to the list then!

Anyone enjoy Solo Leveling?

I personally think it was way overhyped and it isn't that good.

I have a friend who will fight you to the death over that comment

I've never watched it though, Also think it's overhyped
I bet he would win. I would still recommend something else to friends. Shandgri La Frontier for instance. Who wouldn't enjoy SAO without the emo bits in it?

OKAY - lets get this straight AOT is not meant to be watched in 12/24 ep batches with other anime's in between.
This is a start ep 1 and watch till end anime (you don't have to do it in one sitting)

I dunno, I enjoyed Kabenari of the Iron Fortress quite a bit more than AOT.
I enjoyed the first seasonof AOT, second season lost me and I never went back.

Edit: I generally binge watch anime. Watching 24 episodes in 2 or 3 days. It didn't help with keeping me interested in AOT

Yeah Kabaneri is fantastic - but it sucks that the end was rushed and we had to watch the movie just for some additional goodness.
But AOT Season 1 is the intro (this was amazing) Season 2 is filler to give you more insight same with Season 3 but that's when the puzzle starts becoming clearer - If you think you know where the story is going trust me you don't.

If you rate the series based on individual seasons it is a mid series but If you look at it holistically then its easily a 9.5

Probably but I still had to wait for the seasons which also made me forget about them. I should perhaps rewatch it all.

Depends on you, as always

If you think an ending can ruin the entire experience, then maybe not, and more likely if you binge it now

For me, the ending was ... an ending, but there was nothing quite like following S3P2 weekly back when it aired

It's not bad.

I do however want to see a few harder fights. We can't really tell how strong he is, or how much he's growing in strength, which is a little boring.

you can't? have you watched the latest EP? I did have issues with the first few, but they did a really good job to bring it up to pace now

Maybe I mistyped what I meant.

Can see he is incredibly strong, but not to what he compares.

So, perhaps it is intended for the S-Ranked that is going to be coming after him soon. He compares himself to between A and B. But it would be awesome to see what he does in a higher gate/area (can't remember what it's called).

Shangri La Frontier has far better fights I think.

Misudomoe...old but gold, mega funny

Not really sure which ones have been posted. But be prepared, this is a long one.

The anime that broke my virginity:
Basilisk: Kouga Ninpou Chou

I'm a big fan of mecha anime so:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (Everytime I hear "Sora Iro Days" I get a chill down my spine. I literally know the dialogue in Japanese for this).
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Code Geass (Though it's more political, strategic and downright awesome than it fits into the category of mecha).
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (putting this here coz I don't think I've watched anything like it... and it has robots)
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 & Mobile Suit Gundam 1979 (the original)
Vandread
Eureka Seven
Darling in the Franxx

Short sad anime (These ones made me cry --- and I'm a guy):
Angel Beats
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso - Your Lie in April
Clannad & After Story

Comedy:
Beelzebub
Hataraku Maou Sama - The Devil is a part timer
Puni Puni Poemi & Excel Saga
Nichijou -> this one is so random lol
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu - The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi -> Also quite random
The Tatami Galaxy
Fooly Cooly (FLCL)

Intellectual:
Code Geass (I think this fits better here but I started watching it for the mechs).
Steins;Gate
No Game No Life
Death Note -> What anime list would be complete without this
Log Horizon

Unfinished and will never be finished but awesome nonetheless:
Air Gear
History's Strongest Disciple: Kenichi
Tenjho Tenge
Prince of Tennis (This was fun)

Isekai:
Re:Zero (I still love the premise. Subaru is an idiot. Rem is life).
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (EKUSUPULOSJON!)
No Game No Life (I forgot this also fits here)
Tensei Shitara Suraimu Datta Ken: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Game:
Log Horizon
.Hack//Sign -> I haven't watched the rest
Overlord (I'm not sure if this falls under isekai as well)

Movies:
Literally anything by Hayao Miyazaki (Castle in the Sky, My Neighbour Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle... and the list goes on).
Akira
Your Name
Ghost in the Shell

Horror / Thriller:
Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni
Parasyte
Mirai Nikki
Paranoia Agent

Sports:
Yowamushi Pedal (I really love this one for some reason)
Kuroko No Basuke - Kuroko's Basketball
Initial D all seasons (I must've watched this like 10 times already)
Hikaru No Go

Martial Arts / Fighting:
Hajime no Ippo
Tenjho Tenge
History's Strongest Disciple: Kenichi
Samurai Champloo
Afro Samurai
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Demon Slayer

Misc:
Nodame Cantabile
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu - Assassination Classroom (I'm not putting the other genre as it's a spoiler).

And I'm done. These are some of the anime that I found to be good. I've watched a ton more but these stick out to me. That's excluding long running anime like Naruto & Shippuden, One Piece, DBZ, Bleach (without the fillers) until just after the fight with Ulquiorra then it's downhill from there etc.
