F1 2023

What a boring race. Most entertaining part was seeing Max go from P15 to P2 not that he had any problems doing so.

The later, George , you must let Lewis pass. Next lap he starts pulling away from him.

What a mess with Fernando's penalty. P3 , no P4 , no , ok , P3 ............

Ferrari were no where.

Well done to Checo.

Here I'm thinking this weekend will be race weekend, considering there was no racing last weekend. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Australian GP was very disappointing. They should have just ended it 5 laps early.

The biggest waste of parts and the biggest FOD clean-up so far. 😴

Not sure where to watch this. Does look like interesting watch.

D-day.

Things to look forward to:
  • Is the Aston hype real?
  • How big were the bags of sand?
  • When will the French civil war start? By race 3 or race 5?
  • Can McLaren beat Williams this year?
  • Can McLaren beat Alpha Tauri?
  • Who will win the Latifi Award of Excellence this year?
(1) Yes
(2) TBC - outlook not so good
(3) Hahahahahaha

FYI - Italy has been cancelled this weekend due to the flooding.

Quali was the best part of the weekend.
it was insane, but the consistency of max this weekend was phenomenal at the end he made a mistake where alonso made up 4 seconds but two laps later he was 22 seconds behind again, sure the extra pit stop on alonso's side made him lose 19 seconds.

Perez on the other hand was a complete shit show just wish he could be more consistent

The race was scheduled to be a shitshow like it is every year. Fortunately Liberty Media are so kak they were unable to have a shitshow and instead we got a half decent race once the rain arrived.

That Haas overtake was the moment of the race for me, and then generally watching these maniacs pilot those things sideways in the rain was awesome to watch. They really are quite excellent.

Good results for the most part. Perez showing his true talent again. Ocon did a fantastic job and the Mercs actually ran well, maybe there’s something to those upgrades, time will tell.

Ferrari were the clownshow of the weekend as usual. You expect nonsense from Haas and Williams, but Ferrari can always be counted on to bring some level of wtfomgbbq to a race weekend.

Explain to me how Perez is consistently so kak in the rocketship that is the Red Bull?

And not a fluke. The race pace was fantastic!

That was unexpected! For their sake, I hope they can keep it up when the track is warmer and tyre degradation is a lot higher. That's where they've been suffering most, just like Haas.

Not gonna lie, I had a good laugh when the Ferrari could not catch and pass the Williams.

Still rumours for now, not official yet... But many sites are reporting it, so it looks pretty solid.

I'm which case. Damn. Helmut Marko is even colder than the weather in Joburg.
He is ruthless. That said, AT need good performances and he hasn’t had any. Not much risk putting someone else in the car.

AlphaTauri might as well sack Yuki too and offer a seat to Vettel for his inevitable return to F1.

It's a bit of a stretch but it would be a joy to see Vettel and Ricciardo back in a "Red Bull"
