D3 Crusader build help

So I just got my crusader to 70 2 days ago, and have no idea what I'm doing

With this mixed medley confused build I can happily do T2, but need some direction with this toon

Sorry for link to this site but for some reason the link to my battlenet keeps giving an error. Well I've gone the added fire dps way with the obvious additional elite damage. I found using the black thorn and 2 Akkhan set items helped me alot. I used the same 2h sword uou using but finally changed to the Maximus when I started going with added fire damage.

Nice build man!! But from a skills perspective, based on my current gear, what do you recommend I run? I quite like Blessed Hammer, that thing clears out white mobs like a fart in the wind...but I have problems with wrath regen, any tips?

Thanks... well the only thing I use for wrath generation is Justice which you already have active. I appears to be working well for me. It is also good when you have gear that reduce resource cost as it then stretches your output. I've also got two items which adds 7 wrath giving me 114 wrath in total. Blessed hammer is the way to go for me although some swear by the shield thingy but it did not really work for me.

I tried the shield thing, my attack speed is slow, and wrath regen slow, the blessed hammer does more dps I feel, but I will switch to the shield thing again when i find that flail that removes its cost

dissecting all the builds people do is just too tedious

yes, for the most optimal build of certain skill, one would probably need to go and study their builds, but all the copying

To add to what OTC stated, when I started my crusader build I never looked at other's builds I just went with what gave me the most dps. The moment I started focusing on added fire dps was when I got the shield I have now. After that it just climbed and climbed. Sometimes adding elemental dps may initially drop your stated dps but you'll soon find new gear upping it to where it was. I can do single T4 and only die every other rift or bounty but my gold is climbing like crazy due to the gear I have.

I've looked at using those items when I picked them up but salvaged those as my dps dropped more than 300k. Maybe because my dps in game was already around 900k when I got them.

yes it does show pretty low sheet dps if you are still without the best gems, and off course low paragon levels. But I use a full Akkhan set to spam Akkarats champion as much as possible. And because the crus is so tough, it takes me a while to clear a mob, but I am pretty much t5 multi capable(only when [MENTION=1971]Mandarin[/MENTION] is present, I will admit)

But T1 is a breeze, sounds like im panel beating the crap out of a mob for literally a second and they all go down(as in a big mob) Single target is slightly more complicated.

The problem is also that except for added gold I do not get more leg drops on T4 or T5 than what I get from T3.

I am busy gearing my barb on T1, will run with you to get the boring parts done. You have helped me many times before

For me T5 drops alot of legs, and plenty gold.

I agree. Out of all the T levels T5 drops better.. On average on 4 player I get atleast 3 a rift.

That Blessed Shield build is loads of fun, with full Akkhan, the CDR from Fervor passive, and some CDR on gear here and there, you're nearly perma Champion. Sounds like 10 panel beaters in one garage though lol.
Only crap is that it sucks vs single targets. But still fun to not have to think about wrath regen in a build with a wrath spender.

Yup.... I really like Bombardment which is why I only use two Akkhan set items instead of the whole set which I have. Going with the full Akkhan set I'll not just lose stated damage but also 20% added fire damage.

I prefer my build as is, just need to look at increase my survivability through added all resist, maybe by also wearing the BT belt for full set bonus and in doing so dropping a little stated dps but at least have some immunities.

Anyway, I'm rolling holy damage on my sader at the mo, but I'm aching to go lightning!! my shield and bracers both boost holy dps to 38%, i cant roll the holy stat on the shield(one of the hallowed shields), you gents think its worth my while rolling the bracers to lightning and then equipping a SoH? I can stroll through T3 with only those pesky champions taking time to go down.

Also, the sader is fun too, I stand in the middle of T3 mobs, and then condemn all their heads in, FUN!!
