Special Arcade build request

Hey there,

I was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction. I am based in Cape Town and I'm looking for someone to help build me a miniature DJ game arcade. If can be full size or table top sized. We can discuss options around this. Basically I'm a huge fan of two specific music games. Beatmania IIDX and EZ2DJ. I'm looking for someone to build a home cade version for me.

There is a specific online store that sells the controllers. I just need the housing to be built for it so that it can be slotted in with a 27inch monitor and speakers. Something like this.

I would love to do this myself but I know 100% I'd suck and waste tons of material.

Anyone know who can assist? Most arcade custom builders always turns me away which is a bit odd. I don't understand why cause I'm willing to pay. As long as it is reasonable.

I know exactly where to get the controller to drop in so it doesn't have to be built from scratch. I just need the shell built... If that makes sense.

Needed to edit the post as I forgot to add how the controllers look that I'd buy to fit into the arcade unit.

I'd buy two of these. Drop them into the unit and then connect my pc and speakers up to it as well as the monitor.

Sorry I hope I'm making sense. Maybe I should create a mockup....

Have you checked out Indoor Amusements they might have pre built and they are based in montague gardens

OH many many times. They actually have an arcade dj game I played many moons ago. It's broken for years. I asked them to sell it to me multiple times but they refuse to. They don't give me a reason why. I have all the EZ2DJ and Beatmania IIDX hard drive cracks and all I need to do is get that arcade with a fairly basic but old PC that runs XP and a few other specs then I'm good to go.

I probably wasted enough money on it years ago to buy me the original arcade back then lol

But yeah. The owner just doesn't want to. It's literally packed under tons of old broken games. Quite sad really.

No worries man and sorry that they wont what about getting someone here with woodworking to make you the cabinet? And get the artwork printed on vinyl ?

If you can point me to someone who can do this and I can provide the original arcade blueprints then that would be great. I just don't know any woodworkers/carpenters who would take on the job. I asked a few and they all declined.
