Good day all!

I'm looking to insure my pc but u don't know what it all is worth in the end. Maybe someone might be able to give me a ballpark figure?

The specs:

i5 10400
ASUS Prime Z490-p
16GB corsair vengeance kit
Radeon swft RX 6700XT
Corsair RM750x psu
24" Dell P2419H monitor

Hey there. For insurance you need to get a quote from someone like wootware (which you can do yourself) and then submit that. They want to know what it would cost you to replace (brand new) the same or as similar spec as possible. So if you can’t find your cpu for example, use the closest next gen of the same version. From my experience with Santam for example I need to submit a formal quote for the same item new to load it to my policy. Also remember that just because you insure it for R20 000 (for example) doesn’t mean that’s what you get paid out. So when it comes to claiming they will use their suppliers to see what it would cost them to replace the items. So let’s say they can replace it for R14 000 that’s what you will get paid out if you choose the payout option (minus your excess)

Not advice or anything just an FYI from my experiences. So don’t try insure it for more than it’s worth as you just end up screwing yourself lol

Thanks for the info. Some of my components died due to water. Including the gpu and psu. Looking for the same psu i had and will then insure the pc.
