@BillyBob i might only have 28 rating on carb, but nobody fools me when it comes to pc parts. I understand all everybody is saying, but what i am asking why was this never stopped? If people knew all of this information etc since 2011 and so on why was he able to do so many deals etc?

The account he recently used for scamming was only created end last year. He kept coming back with new names, numbers, etc.

I just checked my serial number from the latest HDD sale. It says it's covered but not sure where. How does 1 figure that out ?

Posting about it was predicated on confirmation of Wolvebain's full refund... When I didn't receive confirmation, I informed a site admin with all the details of the deal, and was assured that BlackAdept's dealings would be watched.

I've been exceedingly vocal in the past about dodgy dealings and users to watch out for, much to the chagrin of others on the forum, who called my allegations baseless and alarmist - only to be proven right when said users did eventually show their true colours and get their asses banned...

I assure you, if you're trying to lay blame at my feet for this, you're barking up a very wrong tree.

Rectron will exchange a warrantied drive - if it's not originally their stock, they'll charge a R50 admin fee. Problem solved.

Bastid took me for 4500 in 2011.

Wrote it off back then. Did open a case though. Will follow up with the detective that handled the case tomorrow. Worth a try.

Guys i understand people's frustration here, but this guy also had great deals with a seriously high number of positive feedback, i had 3 deals with him, of which i had no problems at all. Lets see what happens here.

I meant it doesn't look like the same dude. The oak in the linked in profile has much flatter nose. But not 100% sure..

How sure are you? Did you meet them both, side by side? Because BlackAdept is using a cellphone number that pops up as Reginald Moyo, he talks the same, looks the same and uses the same MO (delayed shipping, excuses on broken good, possession of a lot of stolen hardware, etc). His email address is max@infinity.co.za and Reginald also went by Reginald Infinity.

When coincidences start piling up, they become evidence.

I actually felt exactly the same thing but chose not to post it, in my opinion some of the statements in here indicate exactly what he was implying.
I saw the Facebook profile, the LinkedIn profiles, etc. I think it's a bit of a stretch to say they're the same people based off if the images however first hand experience could be their deciding factors.
