Seller @BlackAdept

Guys don't deal with this person!!!
Bought a pc from him last month and when I got home to test it the unit was faulty. Then after waiting to finally meet him again as he was always "busy" and couldn't meet he gave me another faulty one, this after I asked him couple times to test it and make sure it works!!!
Then we had to wait for another meeting as again he was always busy!!!
Got unit no 3 from him which lasted couple days and again having problems with it. Asked him to please refund me or trade for something same value as I don't want unit no 4 as it would be same problems again.

He told me he doesn't have anything else to trade and will not refund me.
Then told him if he doesn't help me I'm gonna open a bad deals thread, he told me to go ahead and that he's tired of all the cry babies on carb!!!

I have been in contact with buyer since the 6th of October in regards to the PC in question. We made arrangements to meet up yesterday the 13th of October so he could give me the pc for troubleshooting but when I contacted him in the morning to find out if we where to still meet up he told me that he had left the place set for the meeting and was back in Kempton park. I still offered to collect the PC wherever he was but he said he was preparing to leave for PTA and asked if we could reschedule for today.

I dropped him a text this morning asking if I could come through but he said he was busy this morning and rescheduled for 3pm which I still agreed. Few minutes later I got another text from buyer asking if I did not have a Laptop or desktop PC for the replacement and I told him I didn’t have one at the moment but asked him if he didn’t mind waiting I could get him a replacement in the form of a laptop or desktop pc but buyer then threaten to start a bad deals thread if I do not give him a refund.

I have replaced this PC twice of which both PCs were not as faulty as suggested and I don’t understand why buyer mentions 3 units. I have a record of WhatsApp chats since day one between me and the buyer if mods would like to consider them

1st pc the button didn't work which I mentioned the same day, had to switch on and off at the plug, this was shown to him when we met at eastgate and he acknowledged the button not working.
No 2 didn't wanna boot up which I have screen shots to show and was send to him. Will post the picture here as well as whatsapp messages.
No 3 now is freezing when booting and you have to constantly restart and lucky when pc works for couple minutes.
We were suppose to meet yesterday morning which he didn't respond to, today he send me message in morning and told him I can only meet this afternoon.
Asked for a refund on the 2nd return which he totally refused.
Told him today I want a refund or different priduct. Will update with pics

Also you said you can get me same model replacement which I refused, I asked for something different and you said no.

Also you mention not as faulty?
The 1st one the button didn't work, was it different as to what I said and showed you?
Then the next one didn't boot which again I send you pics and showed you. Again what was different as to what you say I said?

I bought a Hystou PC from the seller and it came with no packaging. The PC was just put in a Postnet flyer bag. As a result the aluminium chassis was scratched in multiple places.

Secondly the wireless antennas weren't in the bag and the second RAM module was missing that I requested and paid for. I had to complain to get these which were then sent.

Then when I wanted to install the extra RAM module the unit has security torx screws which are different from normal torx. I contacted the manufacturer over chat and they said they didn't use these screws. I then had to complain again to say I want the screwdriver for this sent to me at no cost. This isn't a common screwdriver so I wasn't willing to spend time or money looking for one. It isn't standard and I wasn't told even about this and even the manufacturer said they don't use these screws.

I eventually just resold sold the unit without using it. All in all, not happy with the manner the reseller operates.

The first unit I initially shipped to buyer had windows 10 pro installed and he later informed me that the on/off button was working properly and I agreed to giving him a replacement. So I ask buyer to remove the HDD on the unit he had purchased at first which had an activated window 10 Pro OS and the one I had for replacement did not have, buyer informed me that he couldn’t since he did not have the screw driver to do so. Regardless we set up a meeting at Eastgate and we did meet and I stopped the drives on the pcs. Later that evening buyer informs me that the pc is not booting up and I suggested he brings the PC to me the I make sure it’s booting but he refused. I offered a different unit to the buyer and he agreed.

We meet at KFC close to his work and I gave him another unit. Got back home and tested the PC I had just collected from him and it was work fine (anyway that is not relevant to the story but thought I should just mention).

On the 6th of October buyer contacts me again via WhatsApp saying the PC was freezing every day and had to restart all the time. We discuss the way forward and agreed on getting the pc for troubleshooting which was supposed to happen over the past 2 days and today in the morning I contact the buyer to ask if we’re to meet up but he says he was busy.

Furthermore I do not know what is the current state of the PC and that’s the reasons why I had suggested he brings back the PC for troubleshooting only then will I be able to determine if a replacement or a refund is necessary (What if you have dropped the PC?)

It seems like he has point. He has issues with the PCs bought from you, and if I had 3 I would also ask for a refund. Why not just issue a refund?

I see no Feedback rating for this deal?

Total bullcrap on the windows story!!!
Wont make any diffs if you swopped drive with the exact same pc, the drive doesn't know its in a different pc and with them been exact parts should work if pc not faulty.
Also why did you wanna swop me one that was already workes on without a drive? And if you knew that windows might have a issue why did you do it! Why not bring a fully working one for what I paid for from the start?
Also when you stripped them I asked you if this will work to which you said 100%,now your coming with story that windows was the issue??

@Bostik can you please state exactly what was wrong with each computer received? Like:
1st: Power button physically broken.

1st pc was the power button that was stuck
2nd one was the drive swopped and pc didn't boot at all
3rd one is randomly freezing and sometimes doesn't boot up(someone from carb send me a whatsapp and told me these units have a mobo fault)
Spoke to blackadept now and he said he will try to get me a newer gen model with less problems.

@BlackAdept from the initial whatsapp messages you say you dint give a rat's ass about this thread being created and how you hate being threatened into doing what people want.
To be honest if i were you, i would take a step back and see just how many deals you have had to "fix" , from shipping "empty" packages, shipping pcs with different specs than advertised, taking 3 weeks to ship items bought, do you really think this is unwarranted ?

There's a lot of issues with your sales that comes to light in pms / whatsapp and some users just choose to wait it out until the issue is sorted, some just dont have the time or patience.

Sort out the existing issues and if you remain on carb, deal with carbies a lot better than you are. If you feel someone is being unfair to you or making unrealistic demands you dont have to oblige them, you can just create a thread here, but based on my personal experience with you, it is difficult to believe everyone of the people that has complained are out to get you.

With all due ✊ my good Sir. I do understand that and my point to the OP was that I needed the chance to troubleshoot the fault on the PC before we could jump to refunds and bad deals thread as I was the one following up on the issue to get it sorted. It’s unfortunate that it ended up here but that wasn’t my intention if you have read my WhatsApp text between me and OP correctly and I do apologize for that.

We have come to an agreement with OP which I am sure will be satisfactory for both parties once the agreement has been reached.

And I guess I will have to be at the mercy of your ALMIGHTY 🔨 once all has been resolved my kind Sir

Got this whatsapp from him yesterday, will update with any news. Thanks
