Description of Bad Deal:

Individual agreed to a sale then backed out after not reading the terms I had clearly stated in my post. Then says I have inconsistency's within my story and said that the phone would be sent from the USA?

What a load of bollocks. I have the texts to prove everything that was stated should an admin wish to see.

Please just remove the negative itrader from my side. This individual is nothing more then a liar. I have a good record here on Carbonite and on SAgamer under the same name.

I was scammed here about two months ago by a guy called Fiber. He took my R10.5k for a phone and he never delivered.
Viv was involved in the case.
Mike must go look for another victim but definitely it won't be me.

Hi this is a direct quote from you "I will take it as advertised for 10k". Then we exchanged numbers and you found out you had not read the terms correctly. Then go about trying to lie about me ? Dick move my dude.

Sorry you have been scammed before but not all of us are the same. Admins if you need the WhatsApp messages I'm more then happy to send those as well.

Mike said he will return to SA on the 14th of May, that's two full weeks from now. He didn't indicate that on the time line of the advert. In the present age and time, a lot can happen in two weeks. He could be dead, he could become ill and lost his memory, his plane could crash on the way to SA. He may decide not to return to SA and move to another country or stay back in the USA. He could find love and move on. The permutations are huge. I don't have any recurse if any of these happens. At the best, he will be expelled from the forum but my money will be gone. @Traffic took my money, he was expelled but my money is gone, R10.5k is gone. That's the risk that I'm not prepare to take .
Mike is very wrong to assign a negative feedback. He has completely overreacted. And he is busy manipulating the system but I'm not going to fall for it.
I don't know of any rules that says a buyer cannot change his mind if he doubts the authenticity of the seller. I need to be quoted that rule "plain and simple". The decision should not be based on any insuniation but factual. Even the Consumer Act permits a cool off period for a buyer to return a good if the he is not completely satisfied.
So I'm waiting to see how this is handled.

@Traffic told me he was banned and that he was leaving the forum anyway. But he neither deliver the goods nor refund my money. He was gone.

Really! Which rule are you applying here? So if a buyer change his mind because he doubts the authenticity of the seller, then the seller can award a negative feedback just like that! I am appalled!.

@akinjak Read the thread next time.
Mike did clearly state when the phone needs to be sold etc in the thread and you still called dibs and said you will take it.

However the deal was dibsed and cancelled in a space of 10 minutes (maybe even less), I don't think this warrant a neutral/negative rating. Akinjak didn't make @vermillon wait for ages to respond or anything.

I'm therefore deleting both ratings.

And lastly @akinjak negative ratings given in retaliation of receiving a negative is not how we do things on Carbonite, especially if they are claiming that someone is a scammer if they are not. Next time report the rating and we will look into it.
