Hey guys, maybe some of you have some advice.

We bought a mid/high-end PC from EVETECH a few months ago for the office. Fairly beefy for the programs we run on it.
Anyway, so today it suddenly wont connect to any displays. I've tried plugging the monitor via HDMI cable into the graphics card, and the motherboard, with no results.
The monitor works fine on our other devices, so I've ruled out monitor and cables.
The PC comes on, RGB fans and everything, just no display. Is there something else I can try before I get in contact with Evetech to sort it out? Still under warranty.

Thanks

I’d call them and explain the situation - it sounds dead.

Had a faulty SSD in one of our accounts machines, blue screened randomly. Googled the error it's SSD related, called evetech they want the entire machine sent to them from Durban and it will take around 2 weeks for the techs to look at it.

Said eff that bought a 256gb ssd off carb for like R400 (what it would of cost to ship both ways to evetech) and the machine was a running as normal the next day. I still have the faulty SSD if someone from @Evetech Support can let me know if I can just send that to RMA.

If it's still under warranty the best thing would be to call them and let them deal with it.
The last thing you want is to open it and do something which they then blame for the PC not working even if it isn't the case.

Just call them, they will have you up in running in no time.

I recently sent up 2 things for evetech to look at. They charged me for two items X2 which included return shipping even though both those items fit in a small-to-mediumish-sized boxed. (Motherboard & 120mm aio cooler). Also the motherboard's pins in its CPU socket had 0 bent pins when I sent it with the courier and somehow managed to end up with over 5 bent pins (even under the bits covered by the CPU socket lid thing). I feel like they give bogus shipping quotes and I've heard that they haven't had the "best" after-sales support  good luck though if you decide to send it back! Make sure to take pics of everything before you do.

Edit: so essentially I paid 130x4

Maybe their lines have a problem. You can also e-mail them. They respond quickly to mails too.

Hi there,

We apologize for you not reaching us through our phones earlier. We had to reset our phones this morning, this could be why you couldnt reach us.

The best thing I would suggest would be to send an email to support@evetech.co.za and they will assist you further. If it comes down to having to send the PC back to us, I will do my best to get the lowest shipping rates.

We are really sorry that you are experiencing these issues. I hope we can sort this out for you as soon as possible.

Thank you, I will do so when I'm back at the office tomorrow

so, did the monitor connect to the PC via wifi at first? :p

also, plugging into the motherboard would only help if the CPU has onboard GPU and not totally sure how the BIOS works where you can choose what GPU gets preference

whether it would auto detect what is being used or you have to manually choose

no error codes on the motherboard displaying?

I got in touch with the support team, and have completed the RMA form, thanks.

When plugged in to the on-board, I should at least have gotten access to the bios, isnt it? But nothing. The monitor detects no signal what so ever from the machine. Not sure about fault codes on the motherboard, didnt check that.
