As others have said, you won't get a kit from kbdfans for much less than you would at ctrlshiftesc tbh. No hassle and you are supporting a small local business. Was looking at KBD's 60% hotswap kits on ctrlshiftesc, although they haven't had much stock recently. Along with the NK boards and the options available straight from KBD.
What I'm looking for is your reliable 60%, tray mount, alu case, hotswap pcb, I'd likely lube and film some gat yellows with a kit from Keyboard Kulture.
Just difficult finding the most affordable/viable route to purchase tbh
I'm one of many waiting for rebeltech to get their bugs in check, apparently they stock ducky keycap sets now
Gat yellows is a great starting point. They are fantastic when lubed right, and rival switches 3x their price.
The tai hao and ducky caps from Rebeltech are good value as well. I have a set of each and no complaints. You can start with a cheaper ABS kit and buy a PBT kit you really want on a next group buy or when your finances recover.
We have a great variety available locally, and I urge you to support the local okes. We need to support them as much as possible so they keep their doors open and enable them to expand their selection.
