I'm advising you to invest your time and money into better things.
Please don’t derail with complete nonsense about degree vs diploma vs no qualification , that’s what MYBB is for.

I studied at Richfield
Did my diploma for 3 years
Did IS , Web tech , database systems , c++,vb.net, networks

Thank you i think i needed to read this feel more better about my situationChances are you would have covered the material for A+ and N+, you could write the exams but tbh I don’t see how that triumphs your N.Dip.
I’d say maybe brush on C# since you did VB.NET so you probably got an understanding for the CLR etc.
Just because you started late with figuring out what path to take, I’d say it’s good that we’re in the beginning of the year.
First step would be building a network, so maybe join meet-ups etc.
See what’s out there, apply for any entry level position, IT is so broad and you can only get a feel for once you’re in. Think of the journey not the destination.
Remember it’s not about doing what you’re passionate about, it’s being passionate about what you’re doing.
Your advice might not really apply to what i asked I can't really change the past , "use what you got at the moment"You people aint fond of reality are you.
I would recommend Web development. I'm currently a fullstack .net web application dev. Work is great, money is great, its just great xD. Unfortunately ones degree only help you get a foot in the door with IT. But to get a good job in IT you have to pick your path carefully and gain experience in it (Not only job experience but just general reading up and making applications for yourself). But Web dev is currently the sweat spot. I can recommend a few of the best libraries that you should look into if you are interested in web dev

Id say do courses and specialise. If you want to do networking, do courses and get certifications. Do you want to develop? Do courses and intro to java, python, data structures, algorithms, discrete mathematics. As important as formal education can be, if companies can look into a great GIT account and see you really have the ambition to succeed, they will take you. A diploma plus the correct combinations of online courses can help you become wildly succesful. Check the current market for network specialists or devs and see what companies want, then do the courses. Add the courses to your linkedin page and you should be good to go. To give you some encouragement, my brother studied actuarial science and works as a data scientist. He worked under a guy with NO formal education but the guy had an excellent GIT account and a lot of online courses. He demonstrated his ability to code and the company hired him. It's all good man i understand
I'm still going to further my studies I'm just really in a bad place and worried about what work to get into to get me off my feet
Thats definitely good golden advice i need to start preparing my GIT accountId say do courses and specialise. If you want to do networking, do courses and get certifications. Do you want to develop?
