Hi guys. Anyone ever came across this error message when trying to install windows "“We couldn’t install Windows in the location you choose. Please check your media drive. Here’s more info about what happened: 0x80300002.”. im unable to resolve this issue searched up Google etc nothing seems to work. Anyone here experienced this and overcame it. Would love to know

Nope it's not. I'm trying to install through usb created a bootable usb using Rufus. The iso I downloaded was directly from Microsoft.

Make sure the flash drive is using GPT if the SSD is using UEFI (via BIOS) - which it should be.
Use MBR if the SSD is using "Legacy" - which it shouldn't be.

I'm not sure whether my bios is set to uefi or legacy as when I go into my bios settings there is no option there letting me know.

Cms / legacy mode.

Cms enabled = legacy on.

Otherwise, post motherboard model so we can help

Another potential idea:
Make sure you plug it into the USB2 slots if you have any.
USB3 might need drivers (depending on the motherboard) and that leads to issues since the install disc does not have all the drivers.

Will definitely give this try and post results.

If you have more than one drive connected it will do this as well, plug any extra drive out and only keep the one in you installing windows on.

Im also thinking maybe the hdd is the problem. I will try and install another HDD in there and see if that sorts it out
This is more on the incorrect partition issue. But we'll see more updates on your progress so that we can give specific solutions.
