for the sake of the template.. this applies to all items:

Price: free..
Payment Method Accepted: none..
Warranty: nope..
Location: Midlands, KZN
Reason: don't use any of it..
Shipping: if I can, it's on you... fair?
Collection: if you're nearby.

---

over the years I've collected many different things, which have now become very effective dust gatherers... these are all varying ages, from various sources, for various reasons, none of which mean much of anything to me any more. none of these items have any sort of warranty left, and some don't work quite "as designed" anymore, but I will add contextual notes for that below where applicable.

NOTE: I did clean everything and get decent photos, which I was intending to do pretty little linked thumbnails and all that.. but imgBB (without a paid account) just makes that way too finicky, so here's a Google Photos album dump with everything: Carbonite PIF - 2023-04-16

anyways, one man's trash, and all that.. :p

so as I do sort through a few more things, I may add more to this list.

  • Item: "Pro 5" Apple-style Earpods (CLONES)
  • Age: 3 or 4 years?
  • Condition: they charge, they turn on, they connnect, but I haven't really used them much. my neice got them with a pair of shoes she bought in Dubai, but she doesn't want them.
  • Packaging: original
  • Shipping: no problem

  • Item: "VR Box" headset - uses your phone screen
  • Age: more than 6 years..
  • Condition: like-new, I used them once or twice.. had grand plans for these, but those never happened, and now my plans have changed..
  • Packaging: none
  • Shipping: sure, if I can find an appropriate box

  • Item: Canon LC-E10E Battery Charger - for LP-E10 batteries (1100D, 1200D, 1300D)
  • Age: 7+ years?
  • Condition: good as new.. the camera it came with got stolen 6 months after I got it, and then this found it's way to the back of the cupboard. comes with a 2-pin power cord.
  • Packaging: nope
  • Shipping: sure, if I can find an appropriate box
  • NOTE: Orms Direct sell this for the lovely price of R1375... like, WTAF? it's a battery charger FFS...

  • Item: Generic USB dual-analogue gamepad
  • Age: no clue..
  • Condition: fully functional, but I cannot use it.. it was bought with the intension of trying a "one handed console controller" mod, which never happened.. and probably never will.
  • Packaging: nada
  • Shipping: sure, if I can find an appropriate box

  • Item: HP 30m fibre optic cable
  • Age: many, many moons... of all colours, sizes, and shapes.
  • Condition: good as new, tested by the guys who came to install my FTTH connection - but I have no use for it...
  • Packaging: actually original..
  • Shipping: can do, but I'll need to think carefully about packaging...
  • NOTE: HP's own recommended price for this is well over R1000, but this isn't something that most end users will ever need, and a business would purchase things like this from "official suppliers". I've tried to actually sell this for real monies many times already.. just take it away, please.

  • Item: Kidigi Nexus 7 Wireless Charging Dock (LQ-GNE72)
  • Age: about 7 years?
  • Condition: looks new.. can't test it though.
  • Packaging: original (from my eBay purchase)
  • Shipping: no problem, it has a sturdy box
  • NOTE: my Nexus 7 tablet got stolen many years back, this has been sitting in the cupboard ever since. I remember I was also able to charge my phone on this dock at the time, but I can't remember if that was my Nexus 6P or OnePlus.. none of my currently functional devices support wireless charging though, so I have no use for this.

  • Item: Packard Bell "imedia S1710" PC tower - specs unknown
  • Age: don't be rude...
  • Condition: nothing looks broken, I haven't tried turning it on.
  • Packaging: nope
  • Shipping: probably not, it's pretty hefty for it's size..
  • NOTE: I cannot remember where this came from or why I still have it.. it's probably more useful as a relic for a museum somewhere. bonus, you get a free Windows Vista Home license! lol. the "MCP73T-AD" motherboard model shows it to be an LGA775 CPU, it still has 2 RAM modules, a HDD, a CD drive, original PSU, all cables, etc.. no idea which parts do and do not work.

  • Item: Microsoft Wired Keyboard 400
  • Age: no clue..
  • Condition: like new really, all letters are still visible, all keys work perfectly..
  • Packaging: no
  • Shipping: uh.. maybe? if I can find an appropriate box.

  • Item: Genius Value Desktop Keyboard KB-125
  • Age: no idea..
  • Condition: "good" as new.. but it's a super cheap board. all keys feel a little clunky, but they work perfectly.
  • Packaging: original, actually..
  • Shipping: sure thing

  • Item: Seasonic X-650 modular PSU - bag with a few cables
  • Age: about 7 years
  • Condition: incomplete, but do read below..
  • Packaging: original-ish.. you probably don't want the PSU box as well.
  • Shipping: can do
  • NOTE: this was for my 600T build, which I ran with a custom made black and white cable kit.. the bag itself is fully intact and in good condition, but it is super dirty (I am cleaning this today), so this is more for the velvety bag that anything else... anyways, life happened and LAN parties were involved, so this bag only has the following generic cables left:
    • 1x 8-pin PSU power
    • 1x dual plug SATA power
    • 1x dual plug Molex power

  • Item: Teeny tiny mini stunt drone (from Wish.com)
  • Age: about 7 or 8 years?
  • Condition: mostly functional, but read below..
  • Packaging: nope..
  • Shipping: can do, should be able to find packaging.
  • NOTE: it's 3cm wide.. it flips in any of 4 directions, has 3 different speed settings, takes 20 minutes to charge and you could play for about 5 minutes on a full charge.... until it fell behind the couch and pulled a long hair around the one rotor. I did manage to clean it out, but it doesn't spin as freely as it used to, so the auto-leveling slows down the others too much and it doesn't really fly. if you like tinkering with tiny drones, this one will be well worth an afternoon's effort... I had tons of fun with this one.
