Asked around a bit and nobody in my circle have used them before.Does anybody know about WheelzOnline? These guys have some decently priced motorcycles and great inventory, just not sure how trustworthy they are. I see them selling bikes all the time but have zero reviews on google and a few other places.
Thanks for trying!Asked around a bit and nobody in my circle have used them before.
That old rule about things being too good to be true applies here I think. Also, please don't buy anything you haven't seen or ridden yourself.
Asked around as well, people say its the same owner as the previously known shop Mikes Bikes - Why they "rebranded", I don't know.Does anybody know about WheelzOnline? They aren't "too good" to be true or anything like that, they just get a decent selection.
Durban is dead deaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad for any of the motorcycles I am considering, so doubt I can fly around ZA trying to find something Bikeshop Boksburg said they knew the owner and were legit.
Unfortunately, someone has had a bad experience at each and every dealer. Ask any GS guy who their preferred BMW dealer is... They always have massive praise for the one who eventually sorted out their issue, and hate all the others.Depending on who you spoke to at Bikeshop Boksburg they may well be legit.
Rather look at Fire It Up. They ship bikes & give a warranty. Also, in terms of the CPA, if they (any dealer) sell you a POS you have the option to return it and ask for money back or exchange for something else.
That said, I looked at Bikeshop (I now call them BS) Rivonia when they had a low mileage BlackBird earlier this year.
They were selling it as a 2001 model. But it had an analogue instrument cluster. And having previously bought a 2001 BlackBird new out the crate I knew that it should be a digital instrument cluster.
A little digging via VIN numbers revealed it was actually a 1999 model. When I queried this with them, I was told that "it was registered in 2001".
But.
That does not make it a 2001 model.
It was in fair condition - needed new chain, front & rear sprockets & both front & rear tyres, so knowing that the motors are practically bulletproof I asked them to consider making a price adjustment & get back to me with a fair price.
I was met with first lies about the year model, then grudging agreement when I pointed out the facts, and then disdain & indifference.
So I will NEVER go back to either of their shops.
It may have been a genuine mistake. But the salesman's disdain & lack of response was not on.
Pity the poor doos who bought it and gets given a rude wake up when he tries to buy parts or sell it.
I went here. Was great. Motorbike lessons with Biker Bravado - Experts in one-on-one lessons. In Randburg so not farHowzit bikers. I need bike lessons in preparation for my license test. I am based in and around the Sandton area. Do any of you know or recommend any "schools" that give lessons ? Thanks in advance.

jokes aside what year, want to throw this at my fiance even though she swore never to buy a Ducati, its pretty fun to send her ones for sale.
Cheapest by farAnyone perhaps bought from motobitz co.za before?
Looking for a set of frame sliders and they're the cheapest by far.
But they have no physical address, refuse personal collection even though the item is in stock, have no physical address listen and zero reviews anywhere.
And all things considered, its not the greatest website but it doesn't scream scam.Cheapest by far
No physical address
Refuse collection
No reviews.
I don't know bru. Website has been around since 2016, not that that means much.
Spend the extra for peace of mind? And all things considered, its not the greatest website but it doesn't scream scam.

If that's the case then get it through Takealot. They're pretty good with their returns policy so if you have issues they'll sort you out. Also free delivery over R700.Looks like they also sell on takealot
Where Zorst? So, while the bike is in being repaired I figured that I would spend some money and do some minor upgrades.
First off was getting rid of those horrid brake discs.

Obviously I did new brake pads along with them, and because it was due, a pilot road 6 combo.
