This has i7 3740QM chip (up to 3.7 GHz), Nvidia GTX 680m with 2GB, Full HD 120Hz screen, 16 GB DDR3 1600 RAM (2x4 and 1x8), 1TB HDD and a 256 GB Msata SSD. I also have Nvidia 3D Vision glasses that came with this and some of the original Alienware utility discs.
I’d installed and have been using Ubuntu Linux on this, though it came with Windows 7 installed. I can look for that disc if needed.

I have replaced its keyboard once but it has not needed any other repairs. It does run somewhat hot these days, but I guess thats because it needs a good cleaning of the heatsinks and may be even re-pasting of the CPU and GPU.

For tinkerers - The laptop is fully upgradeable. You can swap out the CPU with a i7 3980QM CPU, install up to the 1070 GPU (as MXM 3.0b card), 32 GB of RAM and up to 2 HDD (2.5”). GTX 1060/1070 will need some work, but GTX 980 can be installed easily. You can even upgrade the Msata drive. The laptop allows overclocking from the BIOS and with the right CPU can easily go above 4GHZ.

I have two 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM sticks I bought in Jan 2018. Will include it with the laptop for another R1000. New these cost R2000, 2 months ago.
