Hi All. Quick question I recently installed the new warzone to play with a friend but I am getting ridiculously low fps. I have a 3500x and 6600xt but the cpu keeps running on 100 percent. Game is stored on a old hard drive but not sure if that can impact the fps that much?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

It would be an interesting test, but I reckon you'd likely get better performance if it was on an SSD.

However, how are your temps on your CPU and GPU?

Also what resolution are you playing at? Do you have ray-tracing enabled?

Temps on cpu and gpu are normal. Playing at 1080p don't think ray tracing is enabled. Like I said I get like 60 fps on minimum graphics.

Have you checked if a framerate limiter is enabled in game, or in third party software like Nvidia Control Panel or Rivatuner?

What refresh rate is your monitor running at (Windows display settings)? If it's at 60Hz and you have VSync enabled the game will not exceed 60fps.

No framerate limiters. Game also feels very laggy

Is the problem only happening in Warzone , are your other games a smooth experience ?

OK, then you need to post the full "troubleshooting template."

When did the issue start? Did anything in your system (hardware or software) change just before that?

What have you tried to do to fix it so far? What effect did that have?

Does the issue occur in other scenarios (e.g. other games)?

Have you updated all affected software (in this case, Windows updates, the game itself, and your GPU drivers)? Have you tried fully removing and reinstalling all affected software?

And then post full system specs, literally everything. Also post Windows version.

You also still haven't answered the monitor Hz question.

Move it to an SSD as your first test. Hopefully will eliminate a lot of frustration and back and forth.
All games released recently are "optimised" for SSD. I use the word "optimised" very loosely, but with the size of textures and all the other things that go into games these days, the read speeds of a (an? - sounds better in my head) HDD just can't keep up.
Hope this little rambling helped somewhat.
