Not even going to say sorry. The only thing with the R6 is it is so damn lazy down low. Have to turn its ear so that it squeals like a pigJeez..... I've been meaning to pull the trigger on a R6... Now theres pictures... and R1's to consider. Why you do this?
Never owned a sports bike. The R6 was recommended as a starter due to the laziness down low. You have an alternative view/opinion? I'm all ears. Not even going to say sorry. The only thing with the R6 is it is so damn lazy down low. Have to turn its ear so that it squeals like a pig
Would not consider any sportsbike 600cc or higher as a starter to anyone.Never owned a sports bike. The R6 was recommended as a starter due to the laziness down low. You have an alternative view/opinion? I'm all ears.

Even though it is lazy down low, it still rock offs. And they are not forgiving bikes at all if you make a mistake.
I guess it depends on your experience on bikes in general and what you consider a starter.
I've raced enduro for many years. I can wheelie and drift along and play around with a ktm 690 and 1190. I can stoppie and do the same with a gs 1200...Would not consider any sportsbike 600cc or higher as a starter to anyone.

My dad was out of the country lots when I was in school. I used to ride his ZX12 to school and B Runs lots when I was in Grade 7 or 8 if I am not mistakenThere are one or two exceptions though, 19 year old kid was given a ZX14. I was soo upset about it, I was jealous of course. He is 24 or 25 now, He still has it and rides it every day.
Nah man, go for it then.I've raced enduro for many years. I can wheelie and drift along and play around with a ktm 690 and 1190. I can stoppie and do the same with a gs 1200...
I've messed around on a friends BMW HP4, was very cautious though cause tarmac is new for me. But was speeding along in no time. Early grave incomming?
So I'm not sure how well the offroad and dirt skills transfer to tarmac, I would assume not very well. Infinitely more things to keep track of I realise, and everything is out to kill you on tarmac. I won't call myself ignorant or naive, I realise that dirt != tar.
What would you have me start with, in your opinion mr Flex and @D3TTOL ? Just scared I'm bored and moeg of something smaller and slower after 1 month of ownership.
Maybe I should go for something more torque'y, and less speedy.

Nah, luckily not. I was the only real biker in Waterkloof and everyone knew me that way.Haha, I was riding my mother's DL1000Vstrom when I was in Grade 7
My feet could barely touch the ground. though nothing compared to a ZX12.... Surely you must have made some enemies? Some kids must have gotten jealous, I know I would have hated you xD
Go big or go home.
Panda should get a H2,HP4,R1M or Panigale. Extremely easy bikes to ride if your goal is to get an early grave stone.
I have seen one too many youngsters who get given or buy a 600cc/1000c Superbike when they are 20 or even younger. They are now either scared shitless of bikes or no longer among the living.

New BMW S1000RR. Is this 2019’s top superbike?
O and the New Suzuki Katana. Have a Feeling it is going to be a 900 compeditor like the xsr 900 and Z900RS from Kawasaki.
