@milkshakes ?I sheared the head off the screw that holds the cutting disk onto the shaft.
I'm not sure I think it's 1.6mm, no idea what thread pattern though.
not using the new cutting disc mandrel?
probably in your best interest, financially, to maybe go look for one of those kits at Builders perhaps
Thanks, didn't know about it. This looks to be cheapest.

Sucks because that's as much as I paid for the Dremel 4000 and bits =/ But I guess it's the main tool I would use so might be worth it. Do those discs hold up a lot better? I went through a bunch on the last project.
Or might just get this for R125, but it looks like it might also use the screw type.
yeah the 3rd and 4th in that 2nd row looks right
which discs did you use?
ah yes those
the new ones do hold up a bit longer, but I must admit that the new mandrel thing does have me worries every now and then
it tends to make the disc "wobble" a bit or at least, when you have machine on full, you can sense that it's as if the disc is a bit loose (not that it is though)
but yeah, definitely better for cutting than the old ones.... I usually do my 2mm steel runs with it
