Hi so I'm trying to configure my windows pc to work with wake on Lan as I want to use it to run code while I am at my university.

I am running an Asus b760i pro ddr5 with the latest bios and have tried all the setting I could think of to configure the Wake on LAN properly but to no avail.

I am using AnyDesk to try and wake the pc. I have already configured everything in device manager to allow wake on Lan but I can't find the setting in the BIOS.

Is there maybe some guru that has gone through this problem or helped someone else with this problem that would be able to assist?

Hi , got this to work with wolow , to power on /shutdown and restart from my phone . Just followed how they set it up

think if you trying to wake it from the university without you being on the same network as your pc this will most likely not work.
your router will not pass the info onto the network from the internet.

wol normally works while you both on the same physical lan.
you might have to setup a vpn to your home network to be able to use wake on lan or have another pc (NUC) that you can anydesk to and send the wol request from.

Aah damn ok, might just get a smart plug and do it that way then. It's just for when I need to run large chunks of code
Will just leave my pc on if I know I am going to do it that day.
