UHD HDMI 2.1 120Hz VRR TV's

I've been looking at what UHD HDMI 2.1 120Hz VRR TV's are on offer in SA.
I've noticed that the one's we get here are only rated at 100Hz refresh rate vs the US model equivalent that has 120HZ.
Is this because of the old PAL vs NTSC where PAL was 50Hz and ntsc 60Hz.

I'm curious if anyone here has a new rtx 3000 series card with a HDMI 2.1 100\120Hz tv and what settings you were able to configure in nvidia's control panel.
Also how well does the VRR work and at what range does it work?
From the US specs I saw OLED operate between 40Hz-120Hz and LED between 48Hz-120Hz

Iirc, these have two HDMI 2.1 ports ...HDMI 4 and HDMI port that has eARC

I don't have a capable GPU but my console does - Yes, it does have VRR (not sure on the range)

Cool yeah that supports VRR at launch, from what I've seen LEDs support between 48-120HZ VRR

PS5 doesn't have VRR yet but will in the near future

As far as I know 50/100hz TVs made in the last 10 years support 60/120hz. I have 1 question though, since PS5/XBSX are probably going to cap out at 4k60fps what's the point of getting a > 60hz tv? Does VRR make a difference when the game dips below 60fps?
