So Ive been chatting to @Mat_C about some TVs but Im not sure if I will be able to go and check them out in person to make a final decision. I recently got a PS5 to play games in my bedroom. I currently have a 4K 60Hz LCD Samsung TV that I was looking to replace.

I have seen some TVs on Takealot on sale, namely the Hisense U8H, U7H, and the TCL C745. Im aiming for 55" cause thats the biggest I could fit on my TV stand. @Mat_C Also suggsted I look at the Toshiba Z770 which looks like a really great TV.

Currently, the Hisense U8H is R9,999 (Takealot), U7H is R7,999 (Takealot), TCL C745 is R10,999 (Takealot), and finally the Toshiba Z770 is a whopping R6,999 (Makro)

I would love to get something great under R10k. I could probably only sell my current TV for around R3.5k if I find someone willing. What I would love for this TV is:
- Nice bright vibrant colours
- Great performance for gaming (120Hz and VRR and ALLM) on PS5 and PC (I wont use it as a PC monitor, but I will sometimes connect my PC up to play some single player games)
- HDR is a plus
- I have a soundbar so I dont care about audio
- Having Android OS is a plus because of some apps I would love to use, I currently use an Apple TV 4K as my media device, though it doesnt have some apps

I dont use the TV *that* much, Its for the odd movie here and there but its mainly focused on playing games in bed at night. My room is fairly small, with a window to the right of the TV. I normally do sit head on with the TV and dont notice any glare so I dont think this will be an issue. One thing to note is that cause I dont use this TV daily, I dont want to spend more than necesary to get the features I listed. Ontop of that, I have a MacBook Pro 14" which I watch series on alot, and at night when my room is darker there is bloom and it does bother me when there is text on the screen :(

Any advice is welcome, if you have experience with any of these please pop a reply. Im leaning towards the Toshiba at the moment because its a great price but unsure if I should wait for black friday.
