Hi guys
I'm going to see a pc which I'm interested in buying, the pc however is formatted and has nothing but the software, how do I check if everything is working as well as temperatures without any external or download software

Why not take your own software if you can download?

Heaven for basic GPU performance is an example. What kind of PC is it and what are your expectations for what it can do? What specs?

Well I'm not expecting a lot of my GPU as I mostly play FIFA however I do want to make sure that it works as I'm buying of Facebook marketplace and there is a lot of sketchy stuff on there

HWinfo for accurate hardware specs and test temps, cinebench to test reliability of gpu and cpu, use them together to monitor PC for heat issues.

Would rather discourage you from there and buy on carb instead. Having said that, you can use the various different tools designed to test specific hardware like 3d mark for overall performance with the gpu, crystaldisk mark for ssd test, furmark for gpu stress test, cinebench for cpu test, memtest86 for ram, but note that for most tests you need at least half a day if not more to get realistic results, things like 3d mark and crystaldisk mark would give you the shortest time for quickest "results".

Cinebench doesn't test the GPU. Unigine Heaven and Superposition test the GPU, also TimeSpy etc. Cinebench is CPU only.

@Luts_abba this 👆 is the best advice you'll get on this thread.

CINEBENCH

Technical Information

  • Cinebench 2024 tests GPU and CPU performance by using Maxon’s powerful Redshift render engine.

Well the good thing is that I convinced him to come to my house to get the pc tested

Did you at least have a voice conversation with the guy first? FB Marketplace is filled to the brim with scammers. Just check out their Facebook profile properly. Make sure if a stranger from FB Marketplace is coming to your house your family is safe. Have a good defense and offense strategy as well in case things go south in your own home.

Well that must be new for version 2024 then. Cinebench has never had a GPU benchmark before. And since it's a brand new GPU benchmark it may be preferable to rather use benchmarks with existing reputations.

You're very brave letting a complete stranger whose reputation you can't verify into your house.
