'Service Host: Network Service' eating my bandwith- Please help

Hey Carbs

Hoping someone can help me- Ive noticed my internet being kak slow, went snooping through task manager and noticed Service Host: Network Service is using as much bandwith as it can pull, and it has been doing this for more than 3 days now. I have tried the fixes on google but they did fokall.

When you expand the process its just Delivery Optimization. I have tried the following:

1. Stopping the process- Just restarts within a minute
2. End Task and Restart
3. Disable Delivery Optimization
4. Use Metered Connection
5. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter
6. Run Network Troubleshooters
7. Repair System File Checker
8. Use the Network Reset button
9. Disabled BITS (although it actually said this was already disabled, i just enabled it then restarted the PC, disabled it again and then another restart
10. Limited allowed bandwith for all windows updates
11. scanned for malware/viruses
12. Turned off downloads from other PC's
13. Dsiabled auto updates on microsoft store

I am in the process of creating a windows iso to format but dont really want to go through this process now as i really need to get my work done

Just check an option under windows update. Think it's called delivery optimization and allows you to share and update via pc on your local Lan.

But do think it's suppose to get disabled if you kill windows update. Maybe try disabling windows update service and restart and check again

Have you checked the updates in widows store and the xbox app? See if anything is downloading in there.

Had a similar problem and found out Dirt was downloading from the xbox app. Drove me crazy
