Description of Bad Deal: I am a noob and didn't read the guidelines, paid for gpu , gpu was "sent" ,he admitted he didn't send it when the track number was fake/old , not answering calls, whatsapp still active, avoiding my questions, wants my bank details "pay back" but don't trust him at all, threatend to black mail me on carb and police if I dont send my details

I can give more info to prove my case but Im tired and pissed right now

@Scissorhands give him your bank name and account number so he can refund you the money. You're also not being very smart for denying it if he wants to really do a refund.

He has my details and images of my banking app, I didn't want to give him my acc number, I have made arrangements with another member, flara has an account to deposit the money into, so waiting on that

No, he has my personal information, name, surname, contact no, email, im under the impression that he is phishing for more and more info, tried to blackmail me to give him my bank details, said he was going to go to the cops and post on carb, (he stated that I can have my money back if I send the gpu back right after giving me the fake TCG invoice) what he has is pictures of me confirming the payment from the app.

He has the necessary details to make a deposit into an account of a carb member that has proven trustworthy , I have the scammers name, number, email , which all seem to be part of an alias, he only calls at 7 - 7:30am sounds Afrikaans, probably 25 - 35 years old , I have a hunch that their is more than one person involved, on WhatsApp he portrays hmself as Afrikaans(badly) when I called him out (fake/old TCG docket) he dropped the Afrikaans for the most part

Well this morning he sent me this (his photo) which I can only assume is fake, like everything else he gives me, lies and fake documents. he threatened to get lawyers involved (don't understand that logic, he committed fraud)

By the way and I just HAVE to say this: GeForce is the name of the brand of GPUs manufactured by Nvidia. MSI is a third-party manufacturer that purchases these GPUs and then install their own coolers, backplates and overclocks on them.

A card is most of the time made by one of these third-party manufacturers, unless you get a Founders Edition type card direct from Nvidia. So that card is an MSI and a GeForce.

He hasn't sent the full amount and I cant confirm just yet, it was sent to a member who I can trust, he has received the payment notification for an immediate payment (SMS) but hasn't checked to see if it reflects, I should have confirmation after work/ this afternoon

Well, he's completely ignoring me now, whatsapp is going through but he hasn't been active since Friday 4pm

I'm assuming he has no intention to rectify the current situation, if you would like me to post his details to warn others, please request, this guy is bad news

I got 85% of my money back with the help of another member, I'm cutting my losses and moving on.
