So yesterday evening my brother's phone started acting up. He's had it since April and all of a sudden with no drops or any physical damage from then it's worked as it should.
It just started popping the error that it is overheating even though it is cool to the touch. There doesn't seem to be a known issue that causes this doing the round on the net so any knowledge+experience would be appreciated. The only recent happening was an update that downloaded on Tuesday. Can't take it into the local repair centres here in KZN as it is a public holiday and it seems they're shut.
So what we've done is reset the phone and the problem persisted. Put into safe mode and still it persisted. Not sure what else we can do really.
