Anyone know of verified nests around Cape Town struggling to find different variations of pokemon.

Walk new Pokestops. As soon as I found a few new Pokestops I found lots of new Pokemon at the new stops and at my regular stops. Caught a Magmar like that.

They do not, they soft ban you for an hour or two. No penalty, you can just wait out the hour or two and go on right ahead.
The only players getting perma banned, that I have read of, is the guys hacking the coins and XP, that sort of thing, but joystick hacking is a soft ban at best.

My phone is a S6 edge, I doubt it is the phone.

I got banned for playing from PC so they do ban. Although not enough as there are still many players out there that have not been banned. I still see too many CP 3000 Dragonite, CP 2800 Golem, Arcanine, Vaporeon, even a CP 2700 Exeggutor

My dad updated to 0.35 yesterday morning and now he gets to loading screen and havent been able to log in. He gets that failed to get data from game server message. My dad doesn't even know about bots and gps spoofing and doesnt even have internet on his Pentium 4 at home for this. Is my dad now also banned?

If he is banned you should check the email he registered with there should be an email saying he is banned.

Also banned accounts pokemon are not removed from gyms.

No email received. Checked in spam folders as well. I havent even gotten an email after 5 days

Maybe log a ticket or let him login to his account from another phone or vice versa another account on his phone?

I just tested out that appraise feature, My Lapras has an IV of about 80-100%, I'm so proud of it!
It's sad i don't have any candy to power it up, I'm glad i didn't fry that egg!

Finally got an e-mail saying my account for Pokemon Go has been terminated.

Level 15 on my new account so far but geez..... stale bread with old peanut butter pokemon is all I catch

on my way to work a drive past a road (can see it on my map) with 7 pokestops on it in the space of 1 block so i started leaving 10 min earlier for work to detour down that road. In the last 2 weeks of doing this i have caught on the exact same corner on different mornings

Dragonite, muk, areodactyl, magmar, clefable, scyther, haunter, along with about (no jokes) 6-8 pinsir everyday, at least 3 clefary every morning and the occational abra.

Just weird that one road that is less than 150m long has all this cool stuff and the other 31km of my drive has pigeys and rattata with a poliwag here and there

Did you use bots? You should email them and make up a sad excuse for cheating. The the whole, " I'm in a rural area and there's only 1 pokie stop in my community" or something creative to get your account back.

I am not sure what bots are but I used Nox which let me set my location which was my house and then I would walk around my neighbourhood at night (on the PC) as its not good idea to walk around alone at night with your phone out. I didnt do it at that much. About 20% - 25% of my game time.

Would be nice to have my old level 18 account back as I miss my CP 2087 Snorlax but at least I am almost level 15 now again but with no strong pokemon and a fairly empty pokedex.

In general do you guys also experience huge amount of what seems to be signal loss/glitch because it wouldnt say "no gps signal found" or so, my char would just stand there in the location of when i logged into the game and then randomly resets to my position and then repeat the cycle of just standing still. This glitch occurs more often thatn the game actually runs normally. Maybe the update adds some fixes to this.

I gave up, I'm rooted! All my devices are rooted, I root my devices as soon as i get them!
Root is too important for me to abandon, so farewell Pokemon Go!

I like the new update system with the appraisal and buddy feature.

Pokemon Go has been fairly stable for me the last 3 weeks. Odd glitches here and there when I try and caught common pokemon. Only thing I am amazed at is that I have caught only 4 Magikarb and havent even seen a Dratini

mine has been a bit kak after the update, before the update had no issues, now it gets stuck on the loading screen and i have to restart the app a few times before i get in :/

got my haunter in as my buddy, only have to walk about 300 more kms to get enough candy for it
