Seeing that dark times seem to be upon us, I thought I'd share the config to make some RCT UPS's work with NUT as I struggled to find a working driver. I'm running the RCT 650va UPS but I got it to work with the 2000va version too.

I installed NUT via the Openmediavault plugin but the installation is pretty straight forward on most other devices.

This is the config I used.

[ups]
driver=nutdrv_qx
port=auto
subdriver=cypress
vendorid=0665
productid=5161
pollinterval=10
desc = "My UPS"

This really helped me thanks a lot. I then used this for reference for the rest of the setup Raspberry Pi Home Server v2: Network UPS Tools
