Hey guys as stated in the Title im looking for backplates for my 2 770 windforce cards :) i've looked online and was not successful... anyone know as to how i can make them or get them made?

Thanks :)

Lol, either the card is designed with one or it isn't. I've yet to see aftermarket backplates....

Take a look at this thread from overclockersuk Backplate for the Gigabyte WF3 GTX 780 & 770 anyone ? - Overclockers UK Forums

I went this route with my Gigabyte GTX770 ,but be warned it's not a 100% fit on the 770.

The pcb of the 770 is not the same as that of the 780 ,but with a little modding of the EK backplate it can look okay ,but the card and the backplate will have a small gap at the end where there are no holes.

Since I got my Gigabyte GTX780 the EK backplate fits flush with the card as all the mounting holes line up and it looks real smexy now in my case :)

So i can get them for my 770's but it wont hold the card up so itll still droop? and is the plate loose?

just prop it up with a chop stick cut to size and a drop of superglue to hold it in place

Yes the card will still droop at the end and I think only 3 holes of the 770 line up with those of the EK backplate so the plate won't be loose ,but will lift slightly at the end of the card.

Can i drill into the backplate to make it fit? or is the backplate too short? Oh yea and where can i get these? Do i have to import?

Be careful when drilling into the card, you don't want to hit any vitals

No don't think it would be possible don't want to risk shorting the card out by something touching the back of the pcb.

The pcb of the 770 is a bit shorter so the backplate will not be flush with the end of the card ,but if you look at the end section of the card you will notice the shroud of the cooler extends a bit so it does not look out of place. Honestly does not look out of place.

I will look if I still have a picture with a view from the side of my 770 and forward it to you so you can decide if it would bother you.

You can order from EK's shop direct ,but be prepared to pay premium for shipping with DHL. I just used normal EMS ,but the wait was about 2 weeks if I remember correct ,but much cheaper.

Please do that would help me out a lot here :) Im sure i can drill in the back plate itself so it will fit the card? Im not touching the card though... thats madness lol xD

There you go much better option for you. I remember at the time I wanted a backplate for my 770 they did not have one for the windforce then.
