How toxic are FPS gaming communities vs the likes of Dota 2?

I'm thinking of trying shooters provided they don't shun me for not being as good as them

If you are a newbie in Dota 2 you will catch all the hatred in one big lump sum! After the game you get 4 reports from your team for "so noob. doesn't use his spells"

Yoh not me - just observations

I used to reverse polarity the ground or stun the ground with Slardar and my team used to freak tf out so I said, guys I only started last week, please you don't have to shout. Just tell me what to do... Some were cool with it, others treated it like their lives depended on me

I was in low priority for like 2 months, but I learned fast, also found my fav heroes in low prio

You should try world of tanks blitz if you want number 1 toxicity, every game the losers start calling other players noob, bots and then start talking shit about how they gonna fk peoples moms, it actually gets to the point where its not toxic anymore it just becomes funny watching people have mental breakdowns over a mobile game.

You just need to learn to teabag your fallen opponent and you'll be fine.

I will never forget I don't know how but my first ever DOTA 2 game it's like my team called timeout because the game paused and they all just screamed at me in Afrikaans about how bad i am LOL, safe to say I uninstalled an went back to shooters.
