Description of Bad Deal: So its my week of losing money to scammers right, i am not sure whats going on here but I am now really a sad man. Well this is the story with @Glad Tronics. I put up a wanted listing for 10 series GPUs, the guy texts me saying he has 4 EVGA 1080s, sends the pics, send the benchamarks, I pay for 3, he delivers al lthree in perfect working order. Dude sends me another WhatsApp on Friday(which is now my black Friday) to me saying he has 2 1070s for sale. He sends to me pictures of the GPUs, and all that I asked for, i make payment an he books courier. Monday courier registers failed collection attempt reason being client says package will be ready for colletion the following day , I tried calling him and texting on whatsapp to find out whats going, he blocks me, I call with differrent number, he blocks me. Now its Tuesday morning and I am busy dreaming about winning the powerball, courier guy calls me and tells me we cant reach your guy for the collection, I tell them save your time and fuel, I 100 percent sure he aint picking up that call. Because I had traded with him before, and had a wonderful experience, I trusted him and i got scammed, so it would seem. Can any one assist, this is now terrible. I might as well pack my bags and go back to the village.

@Glad Tronics if he doesn't have his money by COB today, your access to Carbonite will be cut off. I'll also advise @tmaridzo to open a case of fraud against your name at SAPS, and with the case number I'll release all information I can dig up on you to him so he can prosecute.

Yes I'm in the same boat as @tmaridzo. I was promised on Mar 26 that I would be sorted ASAP and I haven't heard anything since. I wanted to give @Glad Tronics the benefit of the doubt since I have dealt with him in the past but I'm yet to receive the 5x Rx 470 8GB's which I mostly already paid for. I was supposed to get them Monday last week, but I received a pair of shoes instead. @Glad Tronics said that it was a mistake as he meant to send the shoes to his aunt and the cards to me but gave both packages to courier guy at the same time and they messed it up.

Unfortunately I have no way to contact him. I have 2 of his numbers, one has been offline for over a month and the other one was last seen about two weeks ago. I have tried calling but it just goes to voicemail.

Just received a response from @Glad Tronics via Carbonite messenger. He says that a family member has passed and that he is away from home to attend a funeral and that he will only be back on Friday to sort things out.

Look, thats kak if its true but he was online after you commented on the weekend (and didn't respond to you then) and again this morning (when he must have finally messaged you after @Toxxyc threatened a ban). It takes a second or two to message someone so if you're online you should at least touch bases first opportunity you get.

And for clarity I've had to go through family passing away so am not unsympathetic.

Because I believe you're trying to deal with the guy in question, and want you to know about the facts before you go into a deal with him.

I don't mean to light a fire under this guys ass, but I had a super frustrating time dealing him as well. Comms are not his strong suite, hence the neutral feedback I left him + other reasons. He didn't feel the need to do/return iTrader, either way, I wouldn't recommend dealing with this guy.

Haven't heard from @Glad Tronics since Wednesday. He still owes me R 4400. I paid for Graphics cards that I have not received. I'm going to open a case at my local police station. As far as I can tell his full name and surname is Kevin Beukes. I have 3 different numbers for him as well as two Capitec Bank account numbers. I also have two addresses for him, the one where I met him personally and the address the shoes from Temu he sent me, instead of the graphics cards, came from. Any other details about him would be appreciated.

@tmaridzo and @YpieM and anyone else, please go open cases of Fraud against this guy. It's not the first time he's done this either. I'm banning him from here. I hope this gets sorted in the end, but for now, his account is no longer welcome on Carbonite.
