Description of Bad Deal:
I bought 2 Nuc's from this guy, no hard drives and ram. Bought ram and hard drives from other Carbs members. Kept the seller informed all the way. Finally with testing, found out 1 NUC does not have sound, other one goes on, when ever it wanted. I informed seller afterwards. Seller told me he is getting others in, will replace it after I asked him if he can replace or refund. I then ship the items back to him. He then informed me he got more Nucs and he tested it and had the same problem with them.
Then he asked for my bank details because he is feeling sick, will do a refund if he test positive for covid. Then he was quiet for a few days, then sent message he will do it the next week. Days after that, I asked again, now he does not have enough money and I must allow till the end of last week, otherwise he can go pawn some stuff to sort me out. I said No, no need to pawn stuff since he will loose out and will ahve more expenses, I will wait till end of last week.
Then he sent a whatsapp that the refund has been sorted on the 26th, on the 29 I sent him a message to ask what happened to the refund? He then say he moved banks and loaded the payment as a debit order, and that he corrected it. On 31st he asked me to let him know when the money clears in my account. Yesterday was the 2nd of September, I asked him what happened to the refund, no answer just reading my messages.
I asked why he is ignoring me now, He answered that he is not allowed to talk on his fone when in office, and that we should talk at 1 during lunch time. He then decided to change his whatsapp so I cant see when he is reading my messages and is ignoring me now.
I have informed the member, @guyofdestiny this morning that I will be opening this thread.
It now looks like I have lost the R950 for items and another R100 for shipping the items back to seller. So that is my first BAD experience since I joined in December...
I hope it can be resolved...
