Description of Bad Deal: GPU Worx Report
Made my first ever purchase on Carbonite, R8000k for an RTX 3080 second-hand from the seller.
GPU passed stress test and seemed okay, initially.
About a week in I start noticing weird artifacts, random stutters and occasional crashes.
I sent card to GPU Worx for Diagnostics - assume most people would know them.

Long story short, card is a complete write-off and was donated to GPU Worx for spares.

Report from GPU Worx is affixed - basically man stacked thermal pads and forced it shut causing the cores to rip off - and then sold it off to me.

I have been unable to get any response from seller in over a week, seller has gone radio silent.

Seller also stated the following "Excellent, I did replace the heat pads with better ones and the GPU runs as cool as ice"
So clearly not as upfront as you think...

What exactly would you like him to do?

I would like him not to do it to someone else, as this guy had multiple GPU’s available. And then I’d like the Bad Deal rules to kick in, as this guy has not been online since November and clearly made a run for it. I know I’m not getting my money back, and already got myself a 7900xtx 🤓
