Any F1 enthusiasts?

Still to early for me to form an opinion but there's plenty of sandbagging at the moment. Will chime back after the final day of testing

I'm still yet to look up on the steering thingy and what did Renault do to their car? I'm lowkey rooting for Williams to challenge the middle of the grid this season and just watch the growth through the season.

Williams is all about the passion of f1, if you don't support Williams in your heart you don't like f1 at all, Renault front of the car is roundish as it seems to me can't imagine that it helps the downforce at all. Yet to watch reviews on their new car, maybe it'll make sense then. And torro rosso is no more, the alpha taurie looks bad ass tbh, maybe its the year of the honda or the wheels is going to come off badly.

Way to early to say who is where mate. Dont think the das system will make such a big difference, banned for next year so who knows it might not even show up in Melbourne. Williams showing good signs of finally going somewhere. Watching testing on youtube, someone has a stream called epic cooking show lol.

Williams was the Vuka last season they pissed me off the whole time bloody backmarkers, but i have a good feeling about them this season they made a major improvement

Yeah also only kept up on YT , the cars look good and I am keen to see what Alhpatauri do. Keen to see WIlliams progress and a proper midfield battle if it comes through. and to see Mercedes dethroned only because they've been there so long. I am not one that really cares for who wins and what what, I usually just enjoy observing it as a whole and what the events unfold, regardless of what they are.

Used to watch but lost interest start of the vacuum cleaner era.

All this tech talk and the last privateer Williams looking up might make me watch again.

I mean 2014 the sound was trash, but now its not that bad and its really only a small part of what makes f1 great.

They also stifled innovation to the nth degree, which took away much from the sport. The year-on-year changes became copy-paste with nothing between the teams and the ones that were lagging behind got fucked plenty by the regulations.

Edit: will watch again this year and see what comes of it. Maybe even buy the latest game to catch up on the new tracks I don't know.

I last played on 2017 on xbox, really fun but it was ruined for me when i played in a friends racing sim. Can't stand the controller now

I think they will make it happen regardless, way too much money too loose .
Yeah but I dont see the whole coronavirus thing passing any time soon though. So far they have a plan to put it after the last race with quali and the race on Sunday.

Yeah With the merc engine that is still pretty good and a manufacturer like Aston Martin taking over, they should be on the up. Really just depends on how early in the season they switch to next years car, but that goes for every team.

I stopped watching because Formula 1 to me should be at the forefront of everything powerful and glorious. Cutting edge technology with every limit pushed. Now you have things "he won't make it until the end unless he nurses his tyres, or nurses his engine". They can't run anything full out anymore. I honestly don't see the point. Let the run, let them run full-out and let them run free.

Thats why the tyres don't last. Running free😂

Problem with that is its not economical sustainable. Regs and limits are there to make them think and really it is still cutting edge, making these engines last as long as they do! Agree on the tyres, should give them less grip and make it last longer, cars should be sliding.
