Amd cpu crack

I just bought this cpu, didn't see it had a crack on it so will this be a problem?
Must i just throw the cpu away and forget about it or will it work??
Yes whe all know why it is cracked

I got it for cheap so i am not going to make a big deal out of this.

Sorry but I don't see a crack If you're talking about the black zig-zag on the heatspreader, well that's solid metal so I doubt it's a crack - more likely a mark or scratch. It should work, why don't you try it out?

Even with that though, the top part of the CPU is merely the heat spreader. The actual "working" part of the CPU could still be undamaged. Pop it in and check, you won't damage any of your other components in any case.

Definately try that CPU ! It has half of Hitler's SS badge on it so its probably a cpu prototype developed using secret high-performing Nazi technology

^ agreed! + i have tested a few cpu's with scratches like that & had no issues but obviously this is at your own risk.

Maybe it got some black magic, looks to be the Harry Potter of AMD cpu's . Glue a wonkey wooden stick to the thing and check if it can make your car turn into a Ferrari
