Hi all.
So my idiot ISP MWeb went and cancelled my fibre service on 30 April. They weren't supposed to, but they did anyway.
So I tried signing up with Afrihost because I'm gatvol with MWeb.
Afrihost reckons they can't activate because MWeb idiots have not released the line.
Any advice on what to do now? Obviously I will call the morons on Monday because they don't work on Saturdays (surprise, surprise). I can't wait another month for them to release the line. What do I tell them?

Usually they don't release if you have outstanding fees.
Else just go for a new install
no outstanding fees. I'm trying a new install, Afrihost reckons they can't do anything. U less if İ maybe go for openserve, but that's going to take so much longer than just activating a new service on the existing vumatel line?

Going Openserve may be quicker, especially if Mweb screwerd up the cancellation. They'll likely screw up the release.

Yeah, I got an excellent lead from @DannyBoyOPC on a possible solution at Vumatel itself. I'm going to try that, but if they can't sort it out I'm just going to say F U to Vumatel and get Openserve to do a new install.

Guys forgot to update - called MWeb, made a bit of noise, line was released same day and activated the next. Thanks to all for your help!
