Hello Carbies,

I am in desperate need of a new chair. I am 6'2" 110kg so a lot of the office chairs available don't really fit me well.

I bought a Herman Miller Embody a few years back, had to force myself to sit on it every day for a year (hoping i would 'adjust'). Honesty the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. Being said, I know people will say 'Type C Aeron' - but man the trauma is real.

As much as I dislike 'gamer chairs' - it seems like they might realistically be the option. Does anyone have any experience with either of these two Vertagear PL6800 / noblechairs Legend. If so, any recommendations on which might be a better buy?

I dont know much about those 2 chairs but I got a gaming chair and its not comfortable at all. I find the bases thing and after sitting for a while it gets flat. and I weight alot less than you.

Curious about whether you ended up buying either of the chairs and, if you did, what your review is after some use.

In my experience, most gaming chairs are just expensive for no apparent reason other then it being gaming.

You would get much more bang for your buck getting a nice office chair.

Went to the noble chairs factory and their top end chair sits the same as a Makro office chair.

Literally all in the name.

I recently bought the Noblechairs Hero, and while the chair build quality is amazing, the seat is incredibly hard, and probably not for everyone. Was hoping it would soften up over time but may have to resort to getting a memory foam cushion for my butt. Just bought an operator chair from makro for my office, for half the price, and it's actually leagues ahead in the comfort department.
