Keyboard Nut Thread

Hear me out... bankruptcy and these 😩
Looks great, just not looking for another OEM profile key.

Cool piece of kit for a first board.

Regarding bike chain lube, it is too thin and only lasts a day in the switch. :(
Not only as a first board, I think.

I've been tempted to get one for my sim rig. Wireless is really handy and the small form factor will allow me to easily tuck it away.

Share some feedback when it arrives @K1NG. I'd highly recommend you holee mod the stabs. You'll need to clean the stabs with warm soapy water and then IPA to remove any lube that might be in there. Rather use silicone oil from hobby shops than bike chain lube.

A short crossover to sim-racing, and a different type of mechanical switch. I received C&K tactile switches for a button plate I'm building to copy the feel/function of my AR wheel (pictured). I really like their crisp tactility. On the other hand, I also received cheapo 16mm push buttons for a DIY button box and I'm rather disappointed with their mushy feeling. I'm thinking of using keyboard switches instead. Has anyone had success using a Dremel to make switch cutouts on plastic? Is it a pain to get the cutouts just right? One of the reasons I bought 16mm circular switches is that I could just drill a hole and screw them on the button box.

Spending the afternoon and evening relaxing with some switch lubing!

I reckon it'll be a job to get them just right with a dremel, but not sure, I 3D print or laser cut most things

Where the F you people get O-Rings? I've been to 4 different large hardware stores.

I am currently trying to cconvince Akko to use Buffalo Couriers when shipping to South Africa. This should make their products a lot more available to us

RAMA Kara (Iced) + ePBT keycaps w/ Alpacas (L&F 205g0 and holee modded Durock stabs)

Howdy, where are you based? I just got a K4 (loving it) and need to lube about 100 switches and the stabs. Would half a tub be enough?
Hey man. I decided to order some Krytox from AliExpress. *If* it arrives, I'd be happy to share with you, but for now, I think I'll just wait it out.
