I'm quite impressed by his determination to make things right, to be honest. Yes, he shouldn't have "stolen" it in the first place, but it's not too bad that you're getting it back bit by bit.

He's really testing my patience, but he is trying, at least.Because it shows there's still some good people in the world that want to make things right no matter how long it takes.

Because he is a graphic designer that fell on hard times and had some medical bills he had to cover for his mother (at the time, and no idea if true). That being said, since he has paid me back 85% of what was owed, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he just found himself in a hole and got some money that was interest free for a couple years.I got the vibe that the guy was quite a mover, according to the op he had around R30k of people's paypal funds at one stage, not pocket change.
Paying back R300 a month is ridiculous, I thought by doing that the guy was still taking the p-ss. That being said I haven't been following the thread for a while so I may be out of touch.
Op why do you think he's paying it back so painfully slowly?
i feel like the last R1527 can be done in one go...Another R300 paid.
R1527 left to go.
