Bad deal with Jypels

That is the same I was give, however the first time my courier went to collect he was there.

According to his WUG stuff he is now staying in Durbanville.
 
Lol... I see since I'm not here with the ban hammer anymore, the Bad Deals threads have become a free for all to chime in again. ROFL... :p

Quite sad to see this thread actually, especially considering @Jypels has been here super long and I've personally haven't had any issues with him in the past. :(

This was actually a bit of a unique case, this. There are three members affected by this, and a few more have information that might be useful. Most posts made here were not approved and deleted, but here and there someone said something I agreed with, which is why I approved these posts. We're not completely lax on the "commenting in a bad deals thread" rules these days, don't worry, we won't let your legacy die down :p

He owned the jypels.com domain, but it has expired. However you can scrape the old information.

17 Cabernet Villas is in Oude Westhof, which in in Durbanville.

This is public information so I don't think posting it here infringes on anything.
I know I am not supposed to comment in the bad deals thread, but this is not really a comment. Just information on a question asked.
 
Thank you that's very good info...(Also apparently that address we have is his real address, so he says) We had just a brief but quick interaction with him just now where he gave us another story more excuses and such... And now he has used OUR money to pay other Debts... So apparently I am now a partial 4 way owner of a BMW.
 
Like I said, case at SAPS. This is TYPICAL scammer behaviour, the quicker you can get cases and case numbers the quicker the cops can pick him up. Make the case and let him know that you're making the cases. All of you. The longer you wait the smaller the chance that you'll get your money back.

Definitely, I will be going to make the case either later today or tomorrow morning depending when I get the chance. And now thankfully with helpful members we have even more info.
 
It's not right to be posting negative reviews on his business profile, I get that people are upset but this really has zero to do with his business and you guys posting reviews are just jumping onto a bandwagon that you have no part of.

Let the SAPS deal with it or allow the guy to pay the money back, no amount of slamming his business is going to change a thing in fact it will just make it tougher for him to make an honest living.

SAPS can't do anything about this as it's a Civil Case. All they can do is create an affidavit.
Best way to get your money back is the Small Claims Court. This is an easy win.

I do not believe who posts on his business are any of us 3.... It's purely personal. His business can fail by itself but it wont be my doing. Personal is personal, business is business.

True, you would go get a case for Fraud, but will still be dealt with small claims due to < R15000 for each party.
So both would be applicable.
 
Ok so a quick update. I have received R5k back of the R7.6K. No eta on the difference.

Something is happening and hopefully we’ll get everything back. I can’t say that I felt like he was scamming us in the sense that he is going to take our money, but I do question whether the gpu’s even exist.

The way things have gone down is really poor and unprofessional.

I also have to agree that his business is his business and it’s not for us to interfere there.

Will update again when the balance has been paid.
 
I was partial as well 5k out of 7.6k, I believe he hasn't done Carbo. Which he said he would do at 6-7pm as his app locked out.

But we still waiting for news about Carbo, and about the remainder...
 
Apologies, seems my email notifications aren't coming through.
Nothing my side yet. Though his last message to me was that he had started refunding the other guys, as well as a screeny of his Fnb daily limit reached error he had received, which is why he could not process mine yet. He will not be able to process payment today though ( or within 24hrs.. depending on how fnb enforces _daily_ )

One can simply adjust your daily limit.. I know.. but I didn't want to push the envelope, as he had shown good faith by at least paying the other guys.
So I will see tomorrow.

No one was threatend ever. And no one was scammed ever. If i wanted to scam anyone i wouldnt have given all my pvt info. I am laying a case of name slander though so its not a threat.
