Windows 11

fDUeBq0.png

OS is pretty AF  And fooking snappy too!

Still don't understand. I thought Microsoft's whole point was to get everyone on Windows 10 and just continually update it live service style. Now we just getting windows 10 deviant art edition.
I believe Windows 10 will just update to 11. Probably changing the version no due to the visual overhaul and rumored kernel-level changes.

Looks very Apple. Hopefully works better than Apple.

Honestly don't know how this POS is so popular. /rants

Ooh ooh ooh ooh.

So we don't have a beta yet, but it's "available"?

Looks nice, would like to load it on a secondary SSD and see what's what.

@SantaMuerte - link me?

That's the weirdest storage flex I've ever seen.

"I'm showing Windows 11 but really I want you to check out my 32.75 TB of storage"
Meh that ain't no flex. There's probably okes on Carb with 60+ TB

@SantaMuerte please label your volumes it's giving me a bit of anxiety :)
Some suggestions

- U Can't Touch Disk
- Disk Is The New Shit
- Ready For Disk Jelly
- Hard Disk's Night
- Disk-o Fever
- Serial (ATA) Killer
- Do It Like They Do On The Diskovery Channel

All of the major tech people are commenting that they never believed that 10 was the last OS ever.

I also have to agree. There was only so far they could patch it before they needed an entirely new system.

Also, 11 just looks like a remastered version of 10 underneath that pretty UI.

I hope Win 11 implements DX12 properly.

Worst thing is... if they make it cheap and easy, I would probably pay a small fee to upgrade to 11. And multiply that by billions of people like me... makes sense, for them.

I think it’ll be a free upgrade, yes.

Microsoft seems to be hell bent on spamming adverts and leveraging personal data as a revenue source.

I’m finding Linux is great as a daily driver.

@JollyJamma I have considered going all Linux, but... that's still a little hardcore for me :D In the future, who knows? There is a teams app for Linux, and I can probably just run a VM if I really need Office applications in their native form...
