Where to from Skylake?

Gigabyte Z270 Gaming K3
32gb (4x8) LPX 2400
960 evo 240gb NVME
2x4TB HDD
Superflower Leadex gold W650 PSU
No GPU
I want to upgrade in June... had a good run with Skylake and its still awesome!

AMD or 12th gen Alderlake?

i5 12600k has most of my interest at the moment with DDR5 and will hopefully be getting a RTX 3070Ti to go with it. I know DDR5 is hellishly expensive at the moment but wana stay on future proof train so willing to take the knock.

I didn't even think of upgrading as my initial plan was to get a XBox series X to go with LG C OLED 55" as monitor/tv

This will be a glorified HTPC/gaming pc
