Hi guys I am looking to get me a device where I can convert the VHS tapes to digital, saw these easy cap devices but most people are having issues with windows 10/11 drivers is there any alternative, looking todo it myself and not pay someone as some tapes needs fixing as I go through them. The only alternative I found was amazon options.

I converted a bunch of my old VHS tapes using an easycap from Takealot on Windows 10 (it may have been 11 but I'm not sure. It was a little while ago) without any issues.

IIRC the issue was with the software that comes with it, not with the unit itself. It reads as a normal camera input in Windows but the software doesn't pick it up. I used Camtasia to handle the file creation and it worked great.
if you want me to double check that everything works with W11 just let me know and I'll plug it in when I have a sec.
