I am looking for a HDMI Digital Driver board for a 14 inch laptop screen.
The screen I need to convert to a monitor is a...
hsd140phw1
40 pin LDVS screen @ 1366x768
I just need 1 HDMI input.

Here is the SCAM website I ordered from but this is the board I found that would work.
Needless to say, the board isn't coming anymore so I need an alternative.

If anybody can help me sourch this board maybe and the 40 pin cable I need or have any other alternatives they can help me with...I would be very grateful

I know I can maybe use other boards out there that might be easily available, but with my limited knowledge of LDVS signals and the deference in 30/40/50 pins, I really don't know where to start.
The last thing I want to do is to buy something and its not compatible.

So...why not use a portable monitor?
- 15.6 inches is a bit too big for the project
Why not buy a 13 or 14 inch monitor?
- 13 inch monitor prices are crazy!
Why 14 inches?
The hight of the screen needs to be less than 200mm for the project. So the 14 inch monitor without casing works like a charm.
Why the driver board?
- It is nice and small and will fit in my case easily and also it's 5v/12v.

For anybody looking for a driver board for a old laptop screen or fried monitor...

I have ordered my board from eBay and managed to find the seller online.

The Chinese store communicates fast and I was even able to upgrade my order after ordering.
When you order, you send your screen name to them and they pair the correct LVDS wire to the chosen display board.

The seller also sells an assortment of screens with digital boards.
All well priced.
