Yep. And 1522 on single core. Just ran it now. Is this bad???23969 on stock with a 5950x? I call shenanigans...

Im starting to think you ran R23 not R20 of cinebench which could explain the abnormally high scores (compared to R20 that is).Yep. And 1522 on single core. Just ran it now. Is this bad???
Yes, it was on R23 sirIm starting to think you ran R23 not R20 of cinebench which could explain the abnormally high scores (compared to R20 that is).
Not sure if that is decent if it's on R23 though.
Downloading R23 now to see what mine does on there
only thing you missing here is a threadripper cpu and your pc would be completely overkill (not that the 5950x isn't already if you think about that max of like 40% cpu usage in most games)StandardI scored 19 376 in Time Spy

Im testing mine now on R23 to compare your single core score to mine.Yes, it was on R23 sir

Hmm maybe 8k. or 4k x 3 from what I saw the 3090 can do on it's own.Not when you on 4k then everything is working very hard
Your speed seems pretty in line with base turbo speeds, especially on single core.Yep. And 1522 on single core. Just ran it now. Is this bad???
This is CB23 with PBO multicore and single core to see.Your speed seems pretty in line with base turbo speeds, especially on single core.
on 4.55ghz static I get 1494 on single core, and just over 29k multi-core.
This is what I meant with single core performance does take a knock (which yes admittantly I was pretty damn blind to and alot of people have already said this)
it got to you as well hey hahahaGave it a go

What did your single core boost to with your pbo settings? This is CB23 with PBO multicore and single core to see.
It was probably around 5ghz or just below, but I am not sure. The result is a little lower than what you will get if you just run without PBO. I just checked now for my 1637 result submitted to Hwbot it states core speed 5060mhz.What did your single core boost to with your pbo settings?
Still not bad, which means that at the least single core can boost to 5ghz with your settings which is pretty good considering the drop in temps as a result of lowered voltage. It was probably around 5ghz or just below, but I am not sure. Hi @HNO3 your result specifically the physics, or cpu score is way too low. Even when running stock it should be around 15000 points or that is what I have seen. I so wish I could be there with you to help you get the system setup for best performance.Result not found

It's the best score so far since I had the CPU.Hi @HNO3 your result specifically the physics, or cpu score is way too low. Even when running stock it should be around 15000 points or that is what I have seen. I so wish I could be there with you to help you get the system setup for best performance.
You need to play around with it. To give you an idea, the result I post below is only the cpu test in 3dmark I've done this morning with the processor running PBO. Now I have to stipulate that my settings are not stable, or so I found out when I ran OCCT. I dropped the negative curve all the way to -10 at present testing with OCCT and if it pass then I'll start fine tuning. It does not help to try get the best performance but your stability is questionable at best. I've learned this on the OCN forum. I'll keep my performance setting but not for everyday use. It's the best score so far since I had the CPU.
I just changed settings in PBO, offset of 12. Thats all I did. Other than that the CPU is stock. It appears to be stable as well, so its a win for me, same temps, better performance. I didnt fine tune anything else as of yet. Not sure how to hahaYou need to play around with it. So you will need to play around with your setup in the bios. Also remember to use the correct power plan, or flip between them to see which gives the best performance.
Okay on the main page in bios for the cpu core voltage, set an off-set of -0.050 as it would drop temps a little.I just changed settings in PBO, offset of 12. Thats all I did. Only thing to note of the cpu offset, as you are depending on the boost to go as high as possible (as high as temps allow), you will need as much voltage as your cooling can handle.Okay on the main page in bios for the cpu core voltage, set an off-set of -0.050 as it would drop temps a little.
Maybe I should pm you my number and we can do a whatsapp call tonight and make sure my bios settings is correct. As it's currently undervolted etc in PBO HAHAOkay on the main page in bios for the cpu core voltage, set an off-set of -0.050 as it would drop temps a little.
In the PBO setting do the following:
Max CPU Boost Clock Override - +150mhz
PBO limits - motherboard or Auto, but motherboard seem to work better for me
Precision Boost Overdrive Scalar - Auto leave it there....
This is more or less what I set. -12 for the cruve is a good starting point...
You should get about 20k with your setup, that cpu score is way too low for what it can do.Stock 5950X

I'll do some proper overclocking this weekend (I'm not very fond of overclocking Ryzen xD).
