Camping the chopper is also impossible, since everyone's location is revealed on the map during the last phase. So you're literally bitching because you don't get rewarded for "reaching the ladder and thus i should have the win"

TBH guys it's just a game and in no way rules on how to play or what play style to use. They are obstacles you have to apply your tactical skills to overcome. If they camp the ladder ah man that's shit and you died. Next time make sure it's clear. Smoke walls I used once to clime and they shot me too late...

I'm happy with the game as it is. Since i mostly play only to shoot other players, i always go to the most dense populated starting point.

You're unhappy about the game and i just wanted to know why. The reasoning you provided is illogical, since the aim of this whole game from first alpha stages was to kill one another.

I just don't see the point of being a good samaritan in an online game that involves killing each other. But kudos for being one @LaidtoRest_ZA

Yes essentially 4 can win and more apparently. I have no idea if they intended it to work this way but I took the last seat of the chopper in one game, with my brother still outside in the storm, and we both got 1st place award.

Technically the chopper can take 4 people regardless of the game type ( Solo / Duo / Squad).

So it goes like this :

a Max of 4 people or squads can win
In solo up to 4 solo players
In duo and squads if even just 1 person in the duo or squad wins, you get the win, even if you died.

Sure you can camp out the last zone and wait till everyones boarded, just make sure there's at least 1 uncontested spot left. Generally I go for the kill and try be the last / only survivor - what's the fun otherwise xD

New map on the 16th and SUPER HYPED ! Played a ton of games, won a stack - was ranked top 100 in EU for a while for solo First person, only ever encountered 2 hackers in 3 months of gaming.

You’ll see it shows the server on the bottom of the screen. Choose the EU servers. The default is NA which is very laggy. It defaults to NA every time you launch the game

Remember to select EU server: Bottom left of the screen... Also Just for new players as an FYI: you will play with bots for the first few games. I believe the devs explained how it exactly works somewhere (Probably the steam discussion).

Also: the heli actually has 8 seats, the game just wants you to believe in shooting each other xD

Mmmm... strange, what connection are you running? We use LTE and have zero lag on EU Servers. Even occasionally play the NA Servers and don't get much lag.

@eY_b0ss So I decided to go after the chopper campers this time and get revenge. Feels good Got 5 adrenaline kills. It was such a rush. Nerve wrecking as fuck with 7 other players around the chopper.

It definitely does drain your health much faster in the endzone. Haven't been inside the ash much other than that so haven't noticed the health drop in the first few zones

First Person Only - 3rd person is H4xies - I very much like the new map - a welcome change from the snow map. Just super hard to see people !

Grappling kit is CRAZY Overpowered oms !
BMX is insane too - so fast when you hold space downhill - 100km/h Oo
Glide is okay , i think the kits are alot more balanced, but okes grappling like rabobi all over the place is a bit MEH at times

BMX Kit works wonders. I heard there is a group on Discord for Carbonite, haven't been able to find it yet but had a thought that there should be an ROE group if we want to team up together. Anyone up for this? Really loving this game. I preferred the old map but the new map takes some getting used to. I'm hoping that they will make both maps available as the game progresses (they probably will). I love the grappling hook since it allows you to scavenge much quicker. Would also love to get an idea of favorite guns and builds, for me so far it is the:
M4A1 Rifle
Automatic Rifle Silencer
Extended Mag for ARs
Vertical Foregrip
4x Scope and 8x Scope (if you are lucky enough to find one)
The shoulder rest thingy (forgot what it is called)...

When I'm not using the above its the MP5 with a silencer and the rest. Have also found the MK12 to be a formidable gun.

So it finally seems like the Anti cheat is doing it's job. Logged in this morning and I got 3 confirmed bans on 3 players I reported a couple of days ago.
Perm bans for all 3 of them. Little bit of faith restored in the game.

The cheating has been out of control since the launch of the new map.
The most common cheat we've come across is a damage mod, where a single shot from any weapon just downs you. Easiest way to tell is the state of your gear when you go down. It usually destroys your gear completely.
